Me and my girlfriend found this cool little spot near our Airbnb on Monday. Didn’t know what to expect but turned out to be some great sandwiches and cocktails. Omar was our bartender and said we should get the Van Gogh and the salad with both dressings. Great choices we loved both of them. We also asked for a mezcal cocktail and he made a something famous and honestly one of our favorite cocktails we had our whole trip. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place, Omar was awesome!

Ok, look at the picture of my sandwich. It looks kinda boring right? I mean, nothing really says wow, that's different right? I don't know how they do it, I'm trying to figure it out, it's driving me crazy! That turkey club is pretty freaking good? Each bite, I'm expecting to taste like any other club I've had? It's gotta be the meat and cheese or something? I know it's expensive, I'm cheap too but my two sons have told me over and over how good it is. It is good. The potato salad is really mustardy but it is pretty good too. I will be back! The neighborhood vibe is pretty cool too.

An unpretentiously deliberate exercise in the neighborhood pub-café typology, Black Rabbit situates itself at the juncture of alimentary pragmatism and curated conviviality. The spatial rhetoric favors intimacy over spectacle; the decor, absent of overdetermined design gestures, instead signals quiet competence. The sandwich-dominant menu operates within the American canonical framework but introduces modest gustatory interventions — e.g., pepper jelly with havarti, cider-marinated peppers — that achieve contrast without jeopardizing structural legibility. Libations are utilitarian rather than dramaturgical, the bar program functioning as a pragmatic adjunct to the kitchen. Service oscillates between warmly relational and mechanically transactional, contingent upon occupancy and staffing variables. In its optimal state, the Black Rabbit delivers structurally coherent sandwiches, balanced flavor architectures, and an atmosphere conducive to habitual patronage. Those seeking culinary avant-gardism will find its ambitions conservative, yet therein lies its sustainability: an establishment that privileges reliability over spectacle in a city otherwise saturated with both.

I had such high hopes after reading all the reviews. But for the service, I would have given this place 5 stars. Sadly, I am giving a 1 star because of the rude and unprofessional staff. If I could give 0 stars I would! Never plan to return to this place on my next visit to Savannah.

A brilliant little bar with some seating out front and a small back patio. This bar has excellent service and delicious food. The menu is small but mighty. Drinks are strong and the cocktails are delicious. Some nights have life music and the patrons are friendly. A fabulous spot for a late night stop or a bit of day drinking. Regardless of the time of day or your vibe this gem should cool you off in the hot summer months and prove a good refuge. Cheers!
