What a lucky find! Picked this spot to eat the night before surgery and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The whole vibe for the place is great. The classic diner feel and oldies music that was playing was perfect. The staff were great! Friendly and fast service! Order a double cheeseburger and it came out so fast that it was fresh off the grill hot! Bring your appetite because these are some big burgers! Tasted fantastic! Definitely want to stop here on my next trip into
Savannah!

Service, perfect. Waitress and her patience, wonderful. Beautiful sunny day to have the Louisiana skillet meal with shrimp, yummy. Chatting with my cousin for 2hrs as we enjoyed the small amount of people who came in before and after us, the best. 10/10

We were looking for authentic diner food and we found it. From Dylan on the radio to our amazing bedazzled waitress- it was awesome!! The food was filling and more than I could eat.

The food was ok. The place was really dirty and dusty. The TV was too loud. There were a lot of the workers personal belongings such as drinks and purses right by where the food was being prepared and where the register is. The waitress was not very pleasant and seemed disinterested in doing her job.

Our favorite place in Savannah. Definitely the best place to eat with kids.

We have been going here for years, and since COVID, it never seems to be as good as I remember.
Service is adequate. It felt like we were a burden, instead of a customer. Food is nothing special anymore and for the price, I'd rather go to a Huddle House, Waffle House or IHOP, spend less, and actually get what I paid for.
We ended up there because the Waffle House across the road closes it's doors at 11p and no longer appears very safe with armed police guards inside. 🤯
If you've got no other choice The Palace, late night, is not the worst choice you could make.

Food was great! Our waitress had a lack of personality. And not much interest about us.

Years ago, this was an amazing diner. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was great and the service was top notch. So when I stopped in to grab some sustenance recently, I was shocked to discover it was a shell of what it once was. Although the cook and the one waitress were sweet, the service was slow and the food was sub par this day.
It looked like some remodeling had been done, but with it some of the charm has been stripped away.
The pricing seemed high vs the quality, and I found myself wishing for days gone by.
*Stars for service was amended. I didn't realize I had given this section three stars. The waitress couldn't have been sweeter.
*To the owner of the diner: Before this visit, the last time I was at the diner was about ten years ago. The comment I made regarding the food was related to my burger tasting a bit salty, and the fact that the onion rings were a bit burnt and positively dripping with grease. At first, the waitress brought me fries, but I had ordered rings, so she promptly rectified the situation. It wasn't until I looked down at my lap, that I noticed grease on the bench next to me. When I looked at the onion ring basket, there was dark grease dripping off the paper that was in the basket. I tried one anyway, but wasn't able to finish it. My son tried one too with the same results. Two other people in our party ordered breakfast and their meals looked spot on.
Overall, for me, the meal didn't live up to the standards I remember your establishment having all those years ago.
Thank you for reaching out to me, and I hope you have a good day.

Old school diner, nothing fancy but the food was great. I had a burger, my wife had the Philly steak. Both were really good, service was great and the food came out fairly quickly. We would not hesitate to stop by again if in the area.
