We sat for 45 minutes waiting for our beverages. When the food came out the salad was moldy. Our server was nice but I would not recommended.

Had to walk out without ordering after making a reservation. No one served us. Waited at the table for 20 minutes. Others walked in after us and were served but we were not. Lots of staff standing around.

We really liked the look of The Grove and the service was very good but the food left a lot to be desired. Not very good.

Beautiful restaurant. The staff was pleasant. But the food...mediocre. My grilled salmon was very overcooked. My husband ordered the ribeye. Why smother a steak in gravy? Nor was that listed in its description. Yuck.

Food was mediocre, service was a bit slow. Very pretty place, but the food was not that great. The menu I saw online didn't match what was there in person. I understand menus change. I think it would be a great bar to go to at night but I won't have dinner here again.

I doubt I will go back or recommend this restaurant. It was not the good food or ambiance that I enjoy.

An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at The Grove My husband and I celebrated his birthday at The Grove, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for the evening. A special shout-out to our waitress, Amber. She was absolutely incredible — attentive, friendly, and professional. She made sure every part of our experience was perfect, from recommending great menu options to ensuring we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Her service really added to the overall experience, and she went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. As for the food, everything was exquisite. But the highlight of the evening was the birthday dessert! The chef truly outdid themselves, delivering a decadent treat that was as beautiful as it was delicious. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. We couldn't have asked for a better celebration and will definitely be back for more. Thank you, The Grove, for making my husband's birthday so memorable. We'll be recommending it to all our friends and family

This was a fun spot! If you are a younger person looking for a place to eat, this is the spot for you. The food was delicious and the staff was quick and courteous.

Great service and nice restaurant. Server was attentive and we were greeted right when we came in.

We visited the restaurant with a reservation for a friend's birthday party. The rooftop had a great atmosphere, but we chose to dine on the first floor because it was too hot. All the food was absolutely delicious. Our server provided fast and efficient service. We would definitely come back again for another friend's birthday.

Came for mother's day. Good food and drinks and lovely staff. Definitely will keep this on our list of go to places for our family.

We love the grove but the waiter they gave us was working a party and a couple other mid size tables. Totally unfair to her but we were frustrated that other staff were just sitting around and didn't communicate. The table in front of us with the same waitress got their food and drinks in and at their table before we even ordered and we got their 10 minutes before them. I had to ask someone three times to service us. We aren't mad that she was overbooked just felt bad she looked like the only one doing everything and someone else could have helped her out or got our order.

The WORST experience we've had at a restaurant in a long time, maybe ever. Our party of four - celebrating a graduation no less - were ushered to a table and ghosted for 10-12 minutes before someone showed up with two glasses of water. We ordered cocktails, which took another 10-15 minutes, and the place was anything but crowded, as it was at the very beginning of dinner service. She complained that they were in a transition, as if that excused the lousy service. It was obvious that one of the party's Hendricks (i.e., upper shelf) martini was seriously watered down. When we finally got the waitress's attention, complained, and ordered another, it took another 10-12 minutes to have it delivered, in a plastic cup! And we could observe the "bartender" joking around with a waitperson! At that point we decided to leave. I got out $30 to pay for the drinks we had. The waitress returned, we told her of our plan, and she offered to have the manager come over. He did arrive, and the only good thing about this whole experience was: he listened, understood, apologized several times, and offered to comp the drinks. That was the only decent service we got in 30 minutes. So, he should be applauded; everyone else should be fired. We live in Michigan, with no plans to revisit Savannah anytime soon, but if we were in town, The Grove Savannah is the last place we would set foot in!

We were very disappointed. We made reservations for 7:00 and we were the only other couple. We should have known then to leave. We ordered guacamole and chips for an appetizer. It was doused with lime to preserve it. I had specifically asked if they make it fresh to order and was assured yes. They do not. The water tastes terrible. I asked to buy bottled water and they don't sell it. Our entrees were chicken tacos and chicken sliders both with jalapeño honey fries. The chicken in the tacos was very bland and chewy. The sliders would have been better without the extra salt. Don't even get me started with the jalapeño honey. It was like microscopic pieces of jalapeño in what seemed like simple syrup. Definitely not honey. We left very disappointed and will not go back. The decor was tasteful, but having pillows in the corner booths just seemed unsanitary. It was just gross thinking of food that had gotten on them or someone wiping their hands on them.

It wasn't the place I expected. It was understaffed. It had an odd seating arrangement where you looked right at the people at the next table instead of who you were with.
