I have been here many times and was always impressed with the food, service and drinks. unfortunately today did not go well. The server although very nice screwed up two of the 4 meals, the apps took along time to get to us. The specialty drink was nothing special and the noise level was so loud you could not hear anyone speaking at our table. I'm hoping it was just an off night.
We planned this dinner as soon as we booked our trip to Savannah! The food is delicious and the service is excellent! It's a little loud but I would expect nothing less considering how popular it is! Audrey was our wonderful waitress, so if you are lucky you will get her!
Very dirty. When you walk in you see tables with left overs and the kitchen was very dirty. We tried to get normal silver ware but we only got plastic ones in a plastic bag, airplane style. We waited very long for an avocado toast which, when finally arrived, tasted and looked very old. Easter Brunch ruined.
The food tasted old and tasteless. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce and the chicken tenders were terrible. The cheese was old and very hard on the edges. Beautiful restaurant and we had a great waiter. I think it would be fine for drinks only.
Charcuterie was super disappointing so we opted not to order entrees. There were two very loud sources of music that battled it out for attention and that was super annoying. Crazy long line of people going to the rooftop that snaked by the table and was also super annoying and uncomfortable. The service was great.
Good, casual spot with a comfy roof deck. Small menu but tasty salad with grilled shrimp and a shrimp burger were perfect lunch choices. Diet Coke was flat but that's the only complaint!
The staff was friendly and the food was good! It was a slow night there as far as customers and service was also a little slow.
It was good. Weird set up on the rooftop but good and service were good. Hate when restaurants charge to use a credit card. ;(
I read about The Grove in an article about 'things to do in Savannah.' The hostess that greeted me was absolutely lovely and so helpful. I sat at the bar, which may not have been the best environment. The bartenders were amazing and super helpful in making suggestions, but I found the ambiance and decor a bit boring. I had the Champagne Pop cocktail which was completely fine and the cheese tortellini which was also 'fine.' Based on the previous review I read of this restaurant, I wasn't blown away. I heard the best part was the roof top, however, that was occupied by some frat event that was in town (and those kids ended up disrupting my hotel stay which is another story for another review). When I was leaving, I tried to use the bathroom, however, the soap filler was sitting on the sink and I heard one of the women in the stall say, 'someone made a mess of this place.' The other woman said, 'this bathroom is not very clean.' So I left. Overall...food, beverage, decor, ambiance was 'fine' but 'The Grove' could make a number of improvements.
The only complaint would be the Bloody Mary wasn’t very good at all. The food was great & the service was excellent.

Food was absolutely awful! There was no flavor nor seasoning. Not sure if they had a bad day , but I would only recommend the drinks .

Gerardo in the rooftop MADE our experience. He worked tirelessly on a busy Friday to make our short time memorable at The Grove. We were incredibly impressed by both his and Andrew's work ethic, class, and finesse of service!
Food was great, drinks were awesome, and we were on a freaking rooftop in SAV so...yeah, good time!

They were out of several items and the waiter was pretty rude. With all the choices in Savanna I would check out some of the other places. Food was not bad but nothing special

Traveled to Savannah with family/friends and decided to try this spot. I have a gluten allergy, and they have a couple things marked. The one thing that wasn’t salad was what I chose, to only be told 20 min later they don’t have it. Orders were messed up, including ice cold tacos, fries without the requested honey drizzle, moldy fruit, one of the kids meals coming out after everyone else is already eating. Service is painfully slow, and we were asked how we’re splitting the check when we didn’t even have food yet. Avoid this place and go to a better establishment.
