Had cocktails and dinner on the rooftop. Weather was perfect, drinks were delicious, and Zac was truly the best waiter!

I want to start this by saying we had high hopes of having a great dinner today, we made reservations early in the day for 2 of us at 9pm after my gf got off work. we’ve been to the grove a handful of times before and typically have a pretty good experience when we go, but our experience tonight was downright embarrassing.we got sat (they didn’t have much business when we came in) and waited almost 10 mins to be greeted by our server with waters- we had enough time to decide what we wanted to eat so when our server came over we were ready to order-but then he notified us that they were out of the parmesan pasta (one of the dishes we were considering trying) and also out of mashed potatoes & green beans which comes with the $48 steak my girlfriend was going to have. after we found that out (would’ve been nice to know prior to being sat or even one of the first things our server should’ve told us) we decided to just eat our 2 apps we ordered and drink our 2 mocktails. our bill easy could’ve been $70+ with the things we were wanting but we couldn’t even have the dinner we were hoping for.food came out pretty quick but you can tell our fries were not fresh- after that our server asked if we would like anything else, i asked for a ranch - never saw our server at our table again (christopher i believe). we didn’t have napkins or silverware or water refills. we work in the industry so we try to give grace when we can but this was just embarrassing like i said. we paid $50 w a tip for what you see in the pics and then went to taco bell after for some food to actually enjoy. probably won’t be returning soon.

We ate here for brunch and dinner. Very good food, we ordered Monti Cristo and chicken Ceasar salad for brunch. Both very delicious. Then chicken tacos and Nashville hot chicken. Both very good, the sauce on Nashville chicken is texas Pete hot sauce and brown sugar..so it has a little spice to it. Nice atmosphere. A must try!

Went for brunch around 12:30 yesterday heard nothing but great things about the grove especially the drinks but to my surprise the food was sub par and the drinks were not good at all I was with three other friends one ordered an espresso martini that looked watered down didn’t even look like an espresso martini and my other friend ordered a margarita and couldn’t even drink it it was way to strong. I ordered a granola bowl that was coated in honey it was so sweet I couldn’t eat it and my friends salad was coated in dressing it was to over powering sad to say I will not be returning

The last time we, my wife and I (we’re locals), were here was back in 2020 and my wife remembered this place as being quite good, I just recall that we had to wear a mask to walk through the restaurant to our table then we could take off the mask. This was where she wanted to come for our 20th wedding anniversary so, ok. I booked reservations thru Open Table and left instructions as well explaining this was for our anniversary and also that my wife was Celiac and vegetarian and if it was possible for chef to maybe add an option or two for her. Obviously none of this mattered and was a waste of time. We arrived at 2030, the place was not busy, several empty tables most still not clean. So still had to wait, then once seated still waited for close to 10 minutes before the server arrived. She was nice I’m sure trying her best. Mentioned it was our anniversary, didn’t mean anything. Order our food she got the Roasted sweet potato and spinach salad, pretty much only choice available, I got the Hudson club with fries. She like her salad my sandwich was ok, fries were not seasoned in any way. Server didn’t check back till our food was 3/4s eaten, my wife was looking forward to dessert but I guess when I said to her “yes we’re done” she figured we were done and just brought the check. Evidently this is not a place for locals but mainly for tourist. As I said place was not busy but everything was definitely mediocre, you know, good enough. Won’t be back. Not that we’ll be missed, plenty of tourist. Sucks to be a Savannahian.Dietary restrictions: If your Celiac AND vegetarian don’t eat here, you basically one choice

I was really upset by how the security staff & manager treated my group of 5 friends last night. My one friend is in a wheelchair, so he took the elevator while we took the stairs - but somehow he was taken to the rooftop, and we weren’t allowed to go up to the rooftop and had to stay on the club floor.Even when we explained to security that our friend used the elevator and was on a different floor, they would not let us go up to meet him, OR let him come down to meet us. This continued for about 20-25 minutes, until someone on the rooftop finally agreed to let our friend come down to the floor we were on.I know it was St. Patrick’s Day so the staff was probably overwhelmed, but for the manager to say that she would kick us out if we were lying about having a friend in a wheelchair upstairs seemed really inappropriate.

Don’t go on saint pattys weekend. Just went. Its madness. Music is toooo loud. It’s very crowded. They are counting heads but it’s standing room only anyway. Cost $20 cover per person! Drinks are expensive too. $17 for a basic bourbon and coke with basic bulleit. Not worth it at all. Go somewhere else.

Sometimes they are scamming with the cover charge here but usually it's always a nice stop to visit for a late night.

It was ok. Server was pleasant and food was prompt. It was very loud, felt rushed, don't like the “scan the bar code for menu. In my opinion it is too expensive for the quality of experience.

Limited children's menu, but the hostess immediately brought out crayons/kids drinks. My grouper was delicious. Specialty drinks were also delicious. Quickly received our food.

The ambience was great and so was the tropical margarita. Other than that it wasn't worth it. The waffles with the chicken and waffles were cold and the chicken fingers tasted frozen. No sauce was offered with the chicken fingers and out server was so scarce I was halfway though my meal before I saw her again. Service was not great, though they may have been shorthanded. It was expensive for the amount and quality of the food we received. I won't be going back.
