Food was disappointing. My father in law's and husband's food was cold when it arrived. The overall taste was not good, expected better especially how hyped it was advertised . The staff was very pleasant and the ambiance was nice.

The service was outstanding. I highly recommend the pirates house. The pecan pie is to sweet though. Other than that it was excellent.

Made a reservation and were seated right away. Server was very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We had the Fried green tomatoes, the Seared Cheshire Prime Pork Tenderloin, and the Pirates' House Award Winning Honey Pecan Fried Chicken. Large portions, definitely let with to-go boxes. Price, mid-range. but not overly expensive. All in all, a great dining experience.

It was a cool experience due to the historical factors but good was okay! Server was super cool and did a great job though. We went for lunch!

Beautiful and interesting historic building, great setting with good service, interesting history, and great stories. Cocktails are well done, and wine list nice. Food was over all good, but menu needs a tune up. Presentation and options feel a bit dated. Over all would recommend, and likely to return :)

Great historic restaurant, a variety of food for all people in our party, and they even have historians and pirates that will tell you the history of the historic building from the 1700s. A must see if you're in Savannah and you will not be disappointed. Great job Pirate House .

All of our dishes had to be sent back! When we got each item we ordered it was cold. Even sending the food back twice was not helpful. It was still cold. We just decided to pack it to try to heat it up in the microwave at the hotel. We were so unhappy! I felt sorry for Tom the waiter who was really great but could not assist us with the cold food.

Service was outstanding and food was better than ever. Highly recommend visiting the Pirate House if you have the opportunity to.

Everything was going well until a family came in with it's dog in a stroller. The tables were in close proximity. You could tell everyone was uncomfortable. A dog in a restaurant is only acceptable when the seating is outside. Ruined our experience. Our waiter was oustanding!

Honestly, cool place with a cool history. The food was meh, and in my opinion over priced for what it was. I would go again for a drink and the experience, but I would skip dinner.

We were celebrating my mother in law's birthday, so we booked this restaurant. The evening was going well until we sat down, we were sitting there for at least 10 minutes before being recognized or approached by our server. He was very attentive to the other tables around us but not so much to our table. I can't give you a name because he never greeted us with his name, however he was African American as were we, he was tall and well spoken with a low haircut but for some reason he seemed annoyed when it came to our table. We had a party of six including two seniors so it threw us off by his non chalante attitude towards our table. Anyways the ambiance and food were good but the service was definitely sub par. Again, he never introduced himself so I can't give his name but he definitely needs to reconsider his career choice. He's fortunate that my wife decided to pay the bill because if it were up to me I would've given him exactly what he deserves, $0! DO BETTER SIR, whatever your name is.

Food & service were great! Atmosphere of restaurant is fantastic! Gift shop upstairs is fun.

It was a great experience - good food, great service, historic buildings - unfortunately we were seated in the Captains Room which was over-air conditioned to the point that our entire party complained. Walking through the other rooms in the historic structure was quite comfortable. We asked our server if it could be adjusted not to blow so hard in that room but was told it was subject to the management's discretion. 5 star review if you are seated in a room where the temperature can be regulated.

whenever you have a theme restaurant like Pirates house you would question whether the food is good. The food is outstanding. The fried chicken is special and clinical drinks were solid. Definitely for me a five star.

Don't know why they allowed an 8:30 reservation and then berated us for booking such a late dinner. Rushing us out and very rude. We were practically rushed out of there in 30 min.
