The Toasted Yolk Cafe- Savannah

We had a group of 6 for lunch today. Waitress was very pleasant. Our food came out all together and hot. I had the special which was a peach cobbler french toast which was delicious. The rest of the group seemed to enjoy their choices as well.

Let start by saying we were sitting near the back so we could see the waiters and waitresses. Everything was fine UNTIL I saw a waitress blow her nose, rub her nose then continue to fill cups up with beverages. She DID NOT wash her hands after the incident. She then gave the customer their drinks. Nasty.

Lastly, I purchased a red mug. My waiter gave me the wrong item a gray mug. Unfortunately didn’t notice it until I got home because it was wrapped up.

I think the food was decent. They just need to tighten up on some areas/ protocols.

arriving at 11:30, it wasn't very busy. But the host was very slow to notice our group and get us to a table. For some reason he picked one in the back room that was crammed into a corner so we asked for a different one. The waitress was great and the food was pretty good. Appears to be a good place for day drinking with full bar options and seating.

The food was delicious. The blueberry doughnuts we're really tasty. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere is lively a very busy restaurant. Portions were a good size. We will definitely be back.

Call me a hard grader, but I haven't found a good breakfast place in the Savannah area.
I had the Southwestern Arnold with the hash brown casserole. Let's start with the regular coffee. It was horrible, then I ordered a Cappuccino, that wasn't so great either. Well at least the orange juice was good.
The Southwestern Arnold was just bland. If they added some spices to the sausage, it would be better. I don't know what was in the hash brown casserole, it looked and tasted like mashed potatoes. I asked for jalapeños, onions and cheese. I got a pinch of each. Not great. I has to drown everything in hot sauce just for taste. The restaurant was large, plenty of room with a bar. The only problem was the floor was sticky. Call it a pet peeve, but I hate it when my shoes stick to the floor.

I usually love this place but my food did not come out right. I am a regular who comes every two weeks and order the shrimp and grits the manager Macy was very rude and disrespectful . Did not offer my food to be done over was not apologetic at all. I'm so sad because this is one of my favorite places I'm already going through a lot and her attitude was so bad it made my day worst! Please please put more understanding people in management ! The situation could've been handled so different had she just understood instead of being racist and mean !

It was our time going here. Much bigger inside than I thought. Great selection of menu items. Food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Alaskan Arnold. The food that came out left 1000 times better than even the picture on the menu.

This place started off great even with the wait. The only problem here was that I got my meal (Porkchop plate) about 35 minutes after the others had almost finished theirs with a wrong item. The homemade donuts was great especially with the caramel spread, I used that on my French toast as well.

Nice establishment! Very clean!! Waitress was very kind!! It was early in the morning so I was in and out. The portion size is very great compared to price. Overall great place for breakfast! You get more than what you pay for for sure.

My son (8 year old) says 99 million stars. Food was good, service by our waiter Fernando was amazing!! Will be back!
