Best japanese food in town if you don’t mind splurging. Very expensive for the portion size. Even for drinks, the cocktail i ordered showed the price BEFORE adding any alcohol and didn’t specify a 4$ extra charge for adding alcohol (despite it being under the cocktail section? not mocktail!). The atmosphere is great and the quality of the food was too. Pricing is just exaggerated for the portion size. For example, 1 scallop is 13$. The owners need to problem solve their menu and pricing if they can’t afford to give at least 2 scallops for 13$. For a table of 3, we ordered 3 apps, a drink each, an entree each, and a dessert to share. I was still a little hungry leaving despite spending over 200$. Again, very yummy food though.

Everything about Ukiyo is wonderful!!! Veronica (who I met on her last day) was a breath of fresh air. Best customer service I have experienced in Savannah!! But don't worry, ask for Bree, she is just as amazing. Now for the food: it is just top tier. I am obsessed with the kimchi fried rice, Okonomiyaki, Tuna Tataki, all of the sushi I have tried- especially the Kamikaze roll... Do yourself a favor and give it a try, you will be so happy you did.

Visiting Savannah for long birthday weekend & went here for dinner as saw they had okonomiyaki on the menu and it didn’t disappoint! It was oishii desu (delicious) super tasty & the cabbage was cut so thin (waitress didn’t know if it was hand cut or machine though) bao buns were yummy too. Gutted there was no yuzu liqueur as that would have topped off an incredible meal.

Ukiyo was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was modern and welcoming, the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. A huge shoutout to our server Josh—he was friendly, attentive, and really elevated the whole night. He knew the menu well, made great recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Great food, great vibes, and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be back!

Great sushi spot with an awesome atmosphere. The scene was really nice and had a great vibe—relaxed but still lively. Our server, Callista, was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The sushi was fresh and well prepared, and everything came out quickly. The food was not good but very expensive. Normally Japanese food are great but felt inauthentic and it was not good. Waiter never checked on us and had to call them many times for the service. Overall, the food wasn’t good but very expensive. Very disappointed
I really enjoyed my whole experience here. I got wagyu steak I can eat with my chop sticks and get tuna in a roll that melted in my mouth! At the end of meal I topped it off a sake float that brought me to summer on this first day of winter. My waitress was helpful in explaining ingredients to me and my partner. I will come here again.
