Heard this place had the some.of the best burgers in town. Not only was it the best burger around but they're fried shrimp has this Cajun stamp of approval! Can't wait to finally get crawfish from here!

Leah was an amazing bartender, so attentive and sweet. My husband had the wings and fries, only .75 cents a wing on Wednesday. The wings were delicious and cooked perfectly. Fries were also greasy fry heaven.

I dislike giving bad reviews, however there's a problem when a VFW is unwelcoming; especially to a veteran/lifetime member. My bf & I decided to stop in on a Thursday afternoon. First we looked around & went straight to the bar. While he got cash out I went to the restroom (which stunk of urine SO bad), then back to the bar patiently waiting for service. While the bartender was chit chatting she saw us, but we were never acknowledged or served. It wasn't worth saying anything to spend our money somewhere you're clearly not welcome. So, after about 15 minutes we went elsewhere. Do better. Treat people how you'd want to be treated.✌️
Update to response: Yes. Post 660. My apologies, it was Wednesday. Thanks for the apology, but we won't be back.✌️

Yesterday we finally had a chance to stop in at our local VFW since moving back. Came in, took cash out, & patiently waited at the bar for 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged. Funny thing is the bartender wasn't even busy & saw us waiting with card & money in hand. In this industry everyone knows that's not how you treat a paying customer, let alone a VETERAN/lifetime member. So, sadly we left thirsty & took our money elsewhere. Nothing like any other VFW I've seen or been a part of.✌️

Typical lodge, long bar, 6 tables and a deck to eat outside. Good service. Good food. The pimento balls and the sauce were very good . Ordered the lunch special on Friday, fish and chips but when I got home I read the emailed receipt and was charged $14 instead of $11

Micheal(bar tender) is always welcoming. And CHAD, is a beast in the kitchen. Hadn't had ANYTHING from their menu that I don't like. As for hand formed NEVER FRIZEN gourmet burgers??????? It is a premium pork and beef blend and ever so juicy. Oh and don't forget to get the full sauce
