The 70th birthday celebration was quite a hit!! Aaron took exceptional care of us and everyone's meals were outstanding!! We will be back!!
This was my first time eating here and let me just say this is probably one of the best restaurants in Savannah!! Definitely will be back
My husband & I picked this restaurant on hearing good reports. Our 2 meals were very good. Our waiter could have been more accommodating. I had to ask for refill in my water glass. We have been to many restaurants, when you tell them it is a special occasion, they would bring out a special desert on the house. That did not happen.
Out meal and service one of my favorite restaurants in Savannah! The seafood platter is outstanding saw was our waitress! Fried chicken and short ribs was outstanding
We were hosting out of town friends and I requested a window table. We had a beautiful view of the river. The server and her trainee were great. The food was delicious as always and we had an rushed lunch with friends.
Unbelievable dinning experience. Had lunch there earlier in the week and came back for dinner. Great atmosphere and on the river. Food and service was great and everyone so pleasant. Loved it all
Terrific first night in Savannah, Georgia. I got the pecan breaded flounder, and my wife got the shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. Also enjoyed a cocktail a piece as well as a beautiful view of the river walk and the river beyond. Our server, Michael, was friendly, accommodating, and a terrific host.
Inconsiderate when seating is as I have ambulatory issues and asked for a table. Made reservations months ago. They said they could not find them. Then after locating then sat us in a terrible place where I was very uncomfortable. All the workers came in and out of the door right beside me sometimes bumping and shaking the divider between me and their path. There were at least 7 available tables when we arrived. They would not accommodate us. Food was not exceptional at all. Workers were polite but unpolished. The atmosphere was raucous. I would not recommend.
Always consistent - bartender and waiters have been there for ever. Highly recommend a reservation or 1-2 ppl can hope for a spot at the bar which has awesome views
Our dinner at Cic'a on the River was excellent! Great service and excellent food!! I would highly recommend!!

Wonderful ambiance! Live piano was lovely. My Mom and I sat near the bar at a high top table. Excellent service. However the food was mediocre. My Mom's scallops were cooked well but very salty. The risotto was mushy and the consistency of mashed potatoes. Very disappointing. My crab cake was small and dense. Very cake like texture. Did not enjoy. For the price I expected better quality food. The only dish we truly enjoyed was the fried green tomatoes and pecan pie.
Absolutely wonderful in every way. It always is a true dining experience when the food was in flavor that left me or when I woke up this morning.
Amazing food! Everything was so fresh and delicious. The pecan flounder and fried chicken were the best we've had! Recommend fully!
The restaurant is beautiful. And the atmosphere was very elegant and nice. However, I had planned this trip and picked all of the restaurants I thought were highly recommended for our first trip to Savannah. We got there and were seated promptly. We viewed the menu for a while. Our waitress came over and told us she was sorry but there were three entrees unavailable from the menu. They were key menu items. So we opted for the only steak on the menu. We did get a shrimp appetizer and it was very good. The waitress returns to the table to tell us they actually didn't have anymore filets either. They offered us the kids steak or order something else from the menu that was already limited. So we went for the kids steak. It came out. My boyfriend ordered rare I had ordered medium well. We both cut in and they were identical. I returned mine to the kitchen. Then they brought it back out completely charred. Which is fine I'd rather it be that way. But it was not good. My side of mashed potatoes was missing. The manager asked if I'd like another side because they accidentally threw away my mashed potatoes. I said I'd just like more mashed potatoes. She told me they were out. At that point, we were just laughing. I couldn't believe this was our experience because this restaurant came so highly recommended. Our waitress was good. Everyone on staff was nice and apologetic. But ultimately when you go to a nice restaurant you want good food. And it was terrible.
We were visiting Savannah with our kids and looking for a dog friendly place to eat dinner on Friday, April 18th. We went to Vic’s and our family of 4 were behind a couple in line to get a table. There was a 2 person table and a 4 person table open in the outdoor area. The hostess seated the couple at the 4 person table. She then told us because there was only a 2 person table available the wait would be 30-45 minutes. I asked why she sat the couple at the 4 person table when we were right behind them in line. Her response was “What do you want me to do, I can’t move them now that they’re seated”. She then asked if we still wanted to wait. I said yes, we will just walk around a bit since we had our dog. She asked for my name and number and said we’d get a text when the table was ready. When we walked away I wondered why I never got a text saying we were on the wait list. So we walked around and happened upon River House who told us they had outdoor seating and was dog friendly. We added ourselves to their wait list also which the friendly hostess said was 20-30 minutes (immediately received a text we were on the list). After 7 minutes we got a text that our table at River House was ready. They seated us right away, the service was fantastic and I had the best filet mignon I’ve ever had. Thankfully it worked out that we happened upon River House because the experience could not be matched. We also never received a text from Vic’s on the River so the hostess never actually added us to the wait list and I’m so glad we weren’t sitting there all that time with our two children and dog waiting for a table we were never added to the list for.
