Easily the most overheyped pizza place I have ever been to. I ordered a large cheese and it 6/10 at best and I'm being generous. It's really not that good. I ordered to go and off the pizza I wouldn't bother waiting to eat in. I don't know if they're having a bad day making pizzas but this just was not that good. I grew up in the Northeast and I grew up around good pizza I know that's been said a lot but this is definitely not great. It's basic and overpriced.

Vinnie Van Go-Go’s was recommended to me years ago when I first visited Savannah. On my most recent trip I had to stop again. It STILL does not disappoint. The pizza by the slice is a large portion, not only a great value for the money, it’s the best pizza!! Don’t miss this OG staple when visiting town, you won’t regret it. Great service, atmosphere and value for your money!!

I'm from the Philly suburbs, and we have loads of choices for excellent pizza. Vinnie's doesn't take a back seat to any of them. Thin, deliciously crispy crust, sauce that's has perfect acid to sweetness ratio, and the right amount of quality cheese. Really, really good pizza. Nice job.

I have loved this place and its pizza since they opened in the early 90's The best crist and the best pizza in Savannah by far.
Parking: Highly congested area so you will have to walk to it. Always had my pizza to go.

Most of Savannah's power was out after Helene. I have an essential job and have to work during any emergencies or disasters. Our 40 person team was also without power and had to work. Vinnie Van GoGo's had power, they were able to get my crew fed during this disaster, twice. Our team deserved better pizza than Little Caesars, or any of the pizza parlor low quality chains. Vinnies has high quality pizza. Best in Savannah!! Our team was very satisfied. People this is a local mom & pop pizza parlor, that uses the highest quality product, treats its employees very well. It's a little bit of trouble if your a local because of parking and it's in the tourist area. Bring someone with you, drop them off to pick up the pizza while the driver circles the block. EASY WAY AROUND THE CROWDS. If you want real quality pizza support your local parlor. Vinnies is number 1

We did the walk up window for a slice of pizza. The piece of pizza is super cheap at 5 bucks. We got the piece and it was HUGE!!! Can definitely feed 2 people. The crust was yummy, great amount of cheese, and overall did not disappoint.
I’m not from Savannah so I don’t know if it’s worthy of the title of “best” in Savannah, but it’s a good deal. I really enjoyed the white pizza. The cheese pizza slice was good and a great size for the price but not extremely unique/amazing. However I thought it still tasted good and wasn’t disappointed given how cheap it is.
I would say you get what you pay for and if you’re looking for the best pizza ever, to try somewhere else.
