The pizza is the best we’ve had in a long time! The only downside is that the restaurant only has a handful of tables and is very busy so you could end up waiting for quite some time. \nThere is a separate take out counter if you don’t want to wait for a table.
Vinnie VanGoGo is a fun, hip pizza restaurant in historic Savannah. \n\nI ordered a single slice with anchovies. Thin crust and very tasty with a glass of stout beer. \n\nVinnie’s is located in an old, Civil War-era building with very low ceilings, typical of the era. \n\nThere is also plenty of street side seating. And it’s fun to watch the pizza chef twirl the pizza dough in the air.
The BEST pizza - highly recommend! We stood in line for a few minutes at lunch to get pizza at the to-go counter. It was great! We were able to find a table to sit on the side of the building. Delicious and the cheapest meal I had in Savannah!
