I stopped by this Waffle House recently, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any location. The food came out hot, fast, and exactly how I ordered it, but what really stood out was the leadership on display.
Manager Derrick McKinney is the definition of professionalism and customer care. You can tell immediately that he takes pride in his store. He was attentive on the floor, helping his team, checking on customers, and keeping everything running smoothly during a busy rush. His energy sets the tone calm, organized, and genuinely friendly. Never seen a manager actually out, talking and making sure his customers are good.
It’s rare to see a manager who leads by example the way Derrick does. The staff clearly respects him, the restaurant stays clean, and the overall atmosphere feels welcoming because of the standard he sets.
I never really do reviews, but after so many bad experiences at other Waffle Houses, I had to give them their flowers.

I am never noticed that Waffle House has a junior as well as senior menu selection and I took advantage of it last night and it was outstanding. A cheeseburger, bowl of chili and a soda, an easy quick meal.

I have come before and the attention was good, but today Sunday there is only one kind person who says hello, I think his name was Deberrick or something like that! Only he took the trouble to clean a table for us too after waiting to pay, although the waitress who touched us saw me a couple of times and the other girl who supposedly also charges pretended to be busy, he approached to pick up, he even apologized, so he is definitely the only one who deserves the 5 stars!the two white women’s who are apparently new are definitely not good for customer service unless they are racist and that’s why we were treated like that!
Overall, it was a great experience. Had a great morning breakfast.

Food was good. Service was ok. But they went outside on break and left me alone in the restaurant. It was kind of strange. They were in a car in the parking lot. I don't know what was happening and I don't care. No one should leave the premises at any time . It was a bit messy behind the counter. Instead of going outside they could have been cleaning. Thanks
