What a wonderful place. We were originally going to the museum and planned to get food at a local cafe later. But as we were walking out, the vibe, smells, and looks of the food enticed us to eat here. I ordered a croissant and the roasted veggie bowl, and my mother ordered a chicken salad on sourdough. In addition, we ordered a melon salad to split. The croissant was super flaky and buttery, but not rich or super sweet, just the way I like it. The melon salad was excellent and...
I was disappointed that this café did not have wait service but that we had to order and pay at the counter. It did not seem in keeping with the ambience of the venue. Our spicy peanut noodles were quite tasty; however, the amount of shrimp that were served with the dish was very scant and could not have consisted of more than three shrimp cut into small bites. That being said, it was basically a noodle dish and overpriced at $15. I don’t see a return visit as likely.
Very trendy court Cafe with absolutly exquisite light menu foods. The "adult" cheese sandwich with sweet potato soup was a real treat on a cool rainy day. Portions were very full. My wife & I split this order and were stuffed AND pleasantly so. Highly recommended!
