Ex pats from England visiting Savannah for the first time and absolutely loved every restaurant, staff in now one of my favorite cities.Great food and service here. Thanks for some great dishes from back home. 👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing food, service and drinks. Attention to detail was definitely impressive. The food had so much flavor. The crab soup was full of crab and delish. The pretzel was amazing. The shrimp and grits were definitely a favorite.
Located near the riverfront on Bay Street, Churchill's is designed to look like a British pub and has food to match. We started with Brie em croute (very good) and had the steak and ale pie for our main course. The pie had plenty of meat, not as much mushrooms as expected, and a large square of puff pastry on top, plus a small salad on the side. It was very good, but a bit salty. We had a nice bottle of French burgundy with our meal, and finished with a bread pudding. Our server Bri was new but very nice and attentive. All in all, a good dinner!
We were early, but was able to be seated right away. Food was good, service was good but it was a little loud (music). We would def go again when back in Savannah.
Cassidy was our server and she was wonderful!! The meatloaf was really good and the red snapper.
The brunch was delicious! Our server, Brandy, was personable and very friendly. The poutine is the best we've had yet (even beats Canada)! My husband had the Full English Breakfast and I had the chicken and waffles. Both were terrific!
We had a 1:15 reservation. We arrived at 1:00 and waited 10 minutes on a hostess to come out. Sat down at 1:12. The waitress came about 5 minutes later, took our drink orders and we ordered an appetizer. Drinks didn't take long, but we had to ask twice about the appetizer. The first time we asked was at 1:45 and the waitress got an attitude about it. It finally came at 1:55. Lunch came right as we needed to leave to get to a play. We had planned an hour and 30 minutes for lunch before our play started down the street thinking we would have enough time to even walk around a little before it started. Our food finally arrived at 2:30. We had to scarf it down as we were headed to a play and didn't have any place to take our leftovers. Unfortunately, we left quite a bit behind. The she crab soup was delicious, but I ordered a bowl and my friend ordered a cup. My more expensive bowl looked to have a few spoonfuls more than hers. It was also a cup, not a bowl, just a tiny bit bigger. Again, not much. Not enough to justify the price. One friend ordered the crab cake sliders and substituted the cup of soup instead of fries. That order was wrong and the bill charged her full price for soup. The other friend ordered some type of chicken slider and ordered roasted potatoes. That order came out wrong also. It had fries. She told the waitress and the waitress finally brought the potatoes as we ready to leave. Again, we were in a hurry and the restaurant was not, so we paid and left. My first time there. I wasn't impressed. The other two had been several times which is why we chose it. It was my birthday celebration so I have to admit, I was disappointed. Being in food and beverage before, all the waitress needed to do was check in once in the 2 and a half hours we were there. She never said she would check on the food or even asked if we needed anything. So overall, food was decent but the experience was horrible. They were not even real busy which made it more disappointing.
The food was cold, not well seasoned and overly greasy. The service was great, the food was just okay.
Our group of five made a reservation and we were seated promptly. Georgia, our waitress, was wonderful and the food was excellent.
Sat on the roof. Took a while to even get menus. Ordered app they forgot about then came out after our food. We told them never mind and they gave it to us anyway and didn't take it off our bill. Food and drinks are excellent however.

Throughly enjoyed our brunch. All liked their dishes and the mimosa flights were the highlight. Great location to do activities after.
Great authentic English Pub food. Wait staff was responsive and attentive. Good place to pop in while in Savannah for a bite. The woodwork in the bar is amazing.
Server was good but food was not! My husband's steak was 1/4 fat, at least. My burger was overcooked and the bun was dried out, or old.
This was my first trip to Churchill's and it was good. The only drawback was it was a 95 degree day in Savannah and the air conditioning was not working properly. Otherwise, the food was good and reasonably priced.
Y'all know that scene in Mean Girls when Regina George writes the Burn Book entry about Cady Heron? That's how I felt writing this review for Churchill's. Absolutely without a doubt the single worst meal I've ever had the misfortune to subject myself to. Poutine was fine to start and then everything went straight downhill. She Crab Soup was salted to the high heavens and tasted like it had recently escaped a tin can; came with a healthy layer of grease on the top. Dealer's choice whether you'd mix it in or leave it floating. Two of us ordered the prime rib and dear God was it an atrocity. Soggy and fatty, somehow both under and over done. Gray in the middle and yet blue on the outside. Make it make sense! Brussel sprouts have been dwelling in a Cambro in the back of the walk in for no less than three months; skunky, charred to a crisp, and unpleasant. Yorkshire Pudding? Hope you like the taste of nothing! Egg and cardboard with the most mediocre gravy you've ever seen. The only truly edible thing on the plate were the mashed potatoes, but really it's impossible to mess those up. Whatever's going on in the kitchen needs serious psychological evaluation and let's all say a prayer for all the tourists Churchill's has inflicted damage upon over the years.
