Wright Square Bistro is among our favorite Savannah restaurants. The food is consistently excellent and the ambience is unique and authentic. Sidney was our server last night and was most friendly and pleasant. She was justifiably proud of the "amuse bouche" that she had prepared in the kitchen and was proud to serve. We look forward to returning to this charming spot soon.
Delightful small neighborhood type bistro. Decor charming with some added personal touches. Food and service perfect. We appreciated the little unexpected extras, such as a dainty tomato taster on one visit and a shared velvet cupcake on another. Menu limited but changes frequently which is unusual and a big advantage. Family friendly: a plus for some and a disadvantage for others.
I was disappointed given the stellar trip advisor reviews. Quiche was small and too much bread.
I absolutely loved my time at Wright Square Bistro! Such lovely service with friendly and professional staff, exquisite dishes I can't find anywhere else in Savannah (made from local produce, as well), beautiful and welcoming ambience—I will be back many times, to be sure!
We continue to very much enjoy dinner here. The service is very cordial and the food outstanding. The homemade blue cheese dressing was clearly one of the best i've ever had. Our meals were also delicious and generous.
Had a delightful dinner with a friend. We are both super critical about food and restaurants, so our dinner here was a great surprise. The food was terrific. And though we sent our steak back for being too rare, they cooked an entirely new one to perfection. The frites were excellent. Same with the duck. The salads were the freshest we've had anywhere. Felt like true farm to table. Will become our new go to restaurant.
Always love their quiche and salad for brunch! The owner is very sweet and the wait staff excellent!
So much potential. Very cute bistro on a quiet street downtown. Menu looked great, nothing complicated, but appealing. Unfortunately, the execution of the recipes was way off. Both of us got the cod/rice dinner. Bland, swimming in too much sauce, cod was totally unseasoned and literally like rubber, and wouldn't even cut with a knife. Very disappointing. One of the owners brought us a replacement, but it was no better. Little things missing - no salt/pepper on the tables, waitress asked us if we needed flatware (?), the place didn't look clean, no ice in the iced tea. All drink and food was room temp. The redeeming elements included the lovely owner (apologetic and gave me a complimentary cupcake) and the delicious desserts (which they outsource from a local bakery). Not willing to try again, not with the other countless restaurants to try here in Savannah.
Surprised and disappointed. We had high expectations for Wright Square Bistro but were disappointed in all three categories of dining out: quality of the food, quality of the service, and value for the dollars you spend. Quality of the food: The salads we ordered were very good. The beet salad was fresh with ample slices of beets. The side garden salad, that came as part of the entree, was equally as tasty. However, the main course, a spring cod fillet on a bed of saffron rice, was served cold. We asked the server if the dish was supposed to be cold to which he replied, "I do not know." He got the gentleman whom we assumed was the Manager (but who never introduced himself). This fellow mumbled that the dish was not served cold and left with our plates. Fresh entrees were served 10-minutres or so later by the kitchen staff (?). We never saw or heard anything from the manager again; not a follow-up, not a "how is the dish now," not an apology. The replaced spring cold was very good (even though the saffron rice was still, at best, warm). Quality of service: Let's hope that this was our servers first day and he had not been properly trained or oriented to the menu. He did little and knew just as much. Value: Prices were not outrageous. Portions were fair. Bottom line: Would I go to Wright Square Bistro again? Probably not. Would I recommend it to others? If they clean up their act, probably.
Get reservations (some empty tables but needed more help)! Small but nice menu for lunch and breakfast. Quiche was OK - crust not the best. Croissants are from a local bakery and make for an incredible sandwich! (I had egg salad and it was nicely made). Side salads were really nice. Bellinis were just OK (not white peach puree but a peach flavored ice cube of sorts!) I woukd go back again for sure!

Charming bistro with fresh and delicious. My daughter and I shared the deviled eggs which were served on a vintage dish. My husband has the Caesar salad with chicken, which he said was very good. My daughter had the tuna salad on a croissant and homemade potato chips. I had the beet salad. We shared a piece of the spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Everything was so delicious and the servings were generous. The downside was the service was very slow, lunch took nearly an hour and a half. We would consider returning, but would definitely order drinks and all food at the same time
Friendly wait staff and great food! We were treated like family. Beautiful, fresh flowers add a special touch to the tables. Truly a gem here in Savannah.
We enjoyed our lunch just disappointed that at 12:45pm they had run out of soup of the day and the 2 quiches offerings!
Our 2nd time to WSB. Fun space. Great service. Owner makes a point of making one feel welcomed. Delicious food. Promptly served. Desserts look very tempting. They're made by local bakery. The stuffed chicken was different, simple, elegant and delicious! Hope they're some new choices at our next visit.
Incredible food and that's saying something in a foodie town like Savannah. Will definitely be back!
