Place was awesome when they first opened but overtime the quality in the food declined. Service wasn’t bad but just didn’t enjoy the food as much after a couple goes. Pictures are from the first week they were opened. Not sure why they are closed now ??‍♀️

Have seen this restaurant here for many years and for the first time set down on a Friday at 7 PM for dinner. Parking lot was a little bit on the light side and we had no wait walking right in.Drink prices are reasonable and the service was excellent. A young gentleman said he was new there but definitely knew his way around serving. The cheese dip is outstanding. The chips are very good and the salsa is better than average. The food did take about 15 or 20 minutes to come out, and from the quality of the food I have to assume that the food is freshly prepared. Street tacos and the Chile Relleno absolutely stole the show. Will definitely come bac. I love this place cannot believe it was not more packed with people.Be warned, some prices on the menu have increased due to Covid I’m sure.

We came in on Friday night and there were only 3 tables so we sat right down with no wait. We sat there for 10 minutes before our server acknowledged us. We ordered a pitcher of El Jefe margarita, which was one step above regular, and waters. 10 minutes later again we still didn't even have our waters. I had to get up and ask for them and still another 5 minutes before our server returned with waters and the margarita. The margarita that's supposed to be better than the house looked like only orange juice, and tasted like it too. (I'm literally writing this review sitting in the restaurant and our food still hasn't come). One star because I couldn't leave zero and the food was actually good once we got it. I had a shrimp burrito and my date had fajita quesadilla.

Place was almost empty and after waiting about 10 minutes server advised they had no chips. Ordered a margarita which was ok. When they finally had more chips prepared they were not cooked. We ordered a dip with chicken, steak, and shrimp but there were no shrimp. As we were preparing to order we were advised all of the menu prices were incorrect and prices had increased. The prices listed were already very high. We decided not to order additional food. $32 for two margaritas and a dip. Friday night at 7 PM I would think all hands on deck but I only saw the one server. Nice looking place but underwhelming.

The only reason this has two stars is because our waitress was very nice and tried to be on top of everything as much as she could. They were understaffed when we went in. We were patient and waited extra to place our order and for our food to arrive. We ordered queso for our chips. It looked like they poured warm whole milk in a cup. It didn't really taste like cheese, didn't stick to the chips, and in general was quite disappointing. I was floored when the bill came and it cost $8/9.I ordered the tropical fajitas and my wife ordered lobster enchiladas. Her lobster was very salty, the rest of her dish was good. My tropical fajitas were borderline inedible. I don't mind seared food with a little bit of burnt edges on them, especially for fajitas, the issue came with the amount of salt they loaded the dish up with. I tried mixing it with all of the sides and it became somewhat bearable. I guess I did not pay enough attention to the pricing on items. Our bill total came out to ~$51.TLDR: Overpriced food, understaffed restaurant.

Food was really good. Customers beware. Prices have increased drastically on your bill, but not on the menu. They tfied to clip a party of two for an additional $5.00. Sad part was nothing was disclosed intil the bill arrived at the table and we questioned the server.

The Sandia margarita was phenomenal and absolutely recommend. Quality ingredients and flavor. The Texas fajitas for 2 and Skinny tacos also were perfect! Not to mention our server was very attentive. I plan to return anytime I'm in the area :) P.S server did inform us that the prices have got up and Everything has gone up so seeing these reviews from these NASTY people like HELLO THE ECONOMY HAS GONE UP PEOPLE!!!!

Brought it to the waitresses attention and her response was that she tries to let people know their prices have gone up. Food was bland. Beans were dood.

It's a beautiful location, friendly staff and good service. The food was just meh. I hope they can figure out a way to make it better.

Coming from Cali and being extremely picky with our Mexican food, I gotta say, Isabel is absolutely amazing! The food is always fresh and if I ever need to substitute something there’s never an issue never a problem.. The owners are absolutelyyyyyy amazing, super personable! So looking forward to summer & enjoy the patio.. The best place to come for Mexican food hands-down in town!!!

Server was very pushy about us ordering our food. We were talking and I have a very limited food diet...so, our server kept coming over and trying to get us to order our food. We told her several times that we would let her know when we were ready to order. Our food wasn't the greatest. The chips were cold and our cheese dip wasn't very warm.

Wow! Just wow. All the food tastes absolutely delicious. Best guacamole I've ever had. Excellent value for money; half of each entree was brought home. You must go to this wonderfully decorated, independent restaurant.

Dined in before closing and our food was fairly poor quality; appears they pre-make everything and serve it all day long. Fajita Chicken had many piece that were so dried out they were not edible. The dish was also super greasy and loaded with onions that were soaked in the dark grease. The black beans were good, but the rice also had hard pieces that were dried out. Friendly service but this was our first and last visit.

Tried out this spot on 1/8/22…. WOW…. Can you say, “No Flavor”! I have NEVER had such bland Authentic Mexican Cuisine and/or TexMex food EVER! The food was just tasteless! It was very disappointing! Seriously Chipotle, TacoBell, DelTaco have more flavorful food than this place. And I don’t believe it’s from a lack of ingredients just not seasoned at all!!! I ordered something simple, Tacos De Carnitas… how could the pork be so bland? When pork is such a naturally flavorful meat! The charro bean soup was bland! Also, ordered the Tacos De Carne Asada and the Isabel Dip. Both items were unappetizing due to the lack of seasoning! Just plain ole not flavorful! However, the restaurant vibe was great and the host & waitstaff were wonderful!

Great wait staff, terrible food, I wish I would have stopped at chipotle instead. Just my opinion but NEVER again
