My mom picked up two large pizzas from here for us, one with mushrooms, artichokes, and spinach and another with jalapeños and pineapple. Both were delicious. The crust reminded me of Papa John's crust, which I love. Some vegan places have fancier pizzas (e.g. crust made from spelt flour), and I love those, but every once in a while I want a basic pizza that reminds me of the cheap ones I used to eat as a child at birthday parties or at the pool in the summer.
If you need to grab a low-key bite to eat, this fits the bill. I had a small salad and a slice the side of a placemat, so it was plenty for me. It was thin crust which isn't my fave, but the edge crust made up for it, and the Italian sausage was pretty good. I was torn on getting a calzone, which my husband got and shared a bit. I will try that next time if we're in the neighborhood. Our server was super nice and chatted with us a bit.
