First time here and I will definitely be back. I had the bbq and Brunswick stew and it was truly outstanding. Also the sauces (hot and mild) were equally fantastic. The staff were exceptionally nice and the restaurant was very clean. They have a drive thru window and plenty of space to eat inside, and plenty of parking. If you’re in this area at all do not pass this place up. I was told by the staff here at the campground that her banana pudding was just as good as the bbq.
I saw a post by Monique Williams TV. Oakwood BBQ. Sanita and I decided to ride over and check it out. The food is OFF THE CHAIN!!! The service and servers was family making. Oakwood BBQ in a little town called Sharon, GA. Six miles from Crawfordville, GA. Fifteen or 20 miles west of Thomson. One hour from Augusta off I-20. Go in! First time trying this BBQ place and it was good. The Brunswick stew is perfect for my wife's taste, she doesn't care for spicy stew or meat. Prices are in line with the Washington food market. So it's a good place to try. They have done in and friendly. I will be going back.
