I visited this coffee shop recently, drawn in by its beautiful location, but unfortunately, the experience fell short due to poor customer service. There was only one person at the counter, and he spent too much time cooking instead of taking orders, leading to long wait times.
I ordered a muffin that turned out to be old and unappetizing, and the coffee was below average. Additionally, the staff member seemed unable to provide even a basic description of the coffee options. Overall, I was disappointed and won't be returning.

This place is a total vibe! Love the artwork everywhere, had to buy a piece. The food…. Omg I got the breakfast tacos with a spiced mango bbq sauce…. Absolutely delicious. The lavender honey ice latte is my fav drink. Super awesome spot!

I found this place by chance and went. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a frozen coffee that the attendant insisted on using the word Frappe. When I received my order, there was a hair in the hash browns and I returned it. When I got the food back the hash browns tasted like freezer and so dry. When I started eating the burrito, there was something crunchy there when I was chewing. There were no ingredients that were crunchy in the burrito so I guess it was eggshells. I couldn't finish it as that after the hair was making me a but hesitant.
Oh, and no apologies from the staff regarding the hair.
The """frappe""" was good.

My wife's lavender espresso drink tasted burnt and by the time we got home the Reese's Latte I tried had curtled... It was disappointing.
Edit: the milk was definitely bad. I'm feeling sick, and it was chunky...

Parking: Good number of spots to park in.

I absolutely love Cafe Lucia! The customer service is amazing, the food is the best and I love their drink options— from their sweet lavender matcha to their strong mimosas. ? Try their egg bowl and sweet potato pancakes. You will not be disappointed. Please note that while there are vegan and vegetarian options, there are NO vegan or vegetarian MEAT options. That’s the only thing that I hope changes soon.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids corner with books, small tables and chairs and chalk.
Awesome pastries and croissant sandwiches, coffee was not good at all. The teenage baristas need to learn how to clean the portafilter after pulling a shot as I've been twice now and each time my espresso drink tasted stale/burnt. The inside of the restaurant is nasty...needs a floor resurface, new sofa/seats, and an absolute deep clean. There are better coffee shops in the area (Rev, Bolivar, etc) but unfortunately this is the closest. The food and pastries are great - coffee and atmosphere need work.

I don't understand how this place is still in business. The restaurant is absolutely, totally, disgusting inside. I challenge guests to look up when they walk in. Ceiling tiles finally replaced, but there are nasty dust/spider webs covering the lights, pickup/order signs, HVAC vents, cameras over food prep area- it's all so incredibly gross. The floors probably have never been resurfaced, walls/baseboards covered in nastiness. Sofa and two chairs look like they came from a homeless encampment. It honestly looks like the inside of a trailer. The smell/air inside is stale because for some reason they can't spend money to get a good ventilation system. Food is great...but go in get it and get outside to eat. I don't understand how the owner of this place can walk in and be proud of their establishment. Downtown Smyrna needs better than this.
