Tried this place for the first time and will not be going back. The Szechuan shrimp was absolutely disgusting. The worst I have ever tested. The black pepper chicken was gross. The vegetable fried rice was good. Our server was dragging her feet all night, she did not seem like she wanted to be there. There was trash on the floor and a very messy working table. Do not recommend this restaurant at all

Amazing general tso chicken !

The dish had a half of container full of the general tso sauce, the bean curd was about 10-12 pieces swimming in the sauce,I ordered and paid extra for plain noodles instead of rice and the noodle serving was a 1/2 serving. Service for pick up was great. Just the dish was disappointing because I basically paid $21 for sauce that was more the consistency of molasses with two cups of sugar, just over powered the bean curd with the sugary sauce.

I've been going to House of Chan for probably 30 years or more. It must be nearing the end of an era. It would be too bad. It's the only Chinese food I like in the area. Anyway, I tried something different for the first time which is probably why I got hosed! Crispy mandarin shrimp was not crispy, or tempura and the mandarin sauce was soooooo sweet and thick and overwhelming that I had to pick the shrimp out to avoid developing diabetes today! The broccoli was completely overcooked and drowning and I just had a really bad lunch. They don't offer to make things right either. To make matters worse, the condiments on the side of the table (sugar, mustard, duck sauce and soy sauce) are filthy mcnasty and sticky. Instantly, I thought there was no way the regular chef was cooking. $20 bucks down another drain :(

I ordered the shrimp egg foo young. The food looked great. The shrimp were rancid. I gave the server, Hana, the option whether or not to charge me. She chose to charge me. Therefore I didn't tip, which would have been much more than the cost. Won't be back!

wow, what a difference in ownership changed makes since the children took over. They have started to charge for tea, shrunk the portions and the food taste different because they cheap out on the chicken and are basically charging for breading not chicken. the father and the uncle that originally own this place should be rolling over in their grave if they’re not dead yet from the poor food quality. either the original management needs to take back this restaurant or they will be dead because people will not revisit anymore after years of great service and great food.

I don't live in Georgia anymore, but I was craving House of Chan today and decided to write a review for those who are thinking about dining there...hands down the BEST Chinese food I've experienced (and I've lived all over AND traveled to China!)...From the authentic Oolong tea served in a bone china teapot to the Orange Peel Beef are superb...and my go-to Kung Pao Chicken was also the best I've had...you basically can't go wrong!!

It's so hard to find a place that has bean sprouts in the fried rice. But I finally found them! Everything we had was delicious

Absolutely fantastic experience! Everything we ordered was fresh and just delicious. The flavors were spot-on—bold, balanced, and really satisfying. The service was fast and attentive, which made the whole visit even better.

The egg roll was hands-down the best I’ve had, crispy and packed with flavor. And the hot and sour soup? Perfectly done—just the right kick and so comforting. You can tell they care about quality here. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving great Chinese food!

This is definitely not the place it used to be. Something has definitely changed since I was here several years back. The food just was way too salty. I mean, you really couldn't even taste the food. We ordered the sesame chicken and general tso. They both tasted the same. This food used to be very enjoyable. I had been telling my friend about this place only to be disappointed. I won't be coming back. What a let down.
