Experience was somewhat of an eye opener. Prices slightly higher for wings and one drink, but the drinks were in a larger size glass. I will return to this location in the near future.

This year, I watched the Super Bowl at J.R. Cricket. Great seating arrangements, plenty of TVs. Good drink specials and great customer service. I had lemon pepper wings, wet. Somehow, the wings were super dry. I would visit again and try other food options.

Went for the R&B bingo. It was a ton of fun! Get there early, though, because it will fill up! R&B bingo is every other Sunday. Lots of T.V.'s. The servers hustle, and they are very pleasant! I've not ever seen one act ugly or present with a bad attitude! The managers work too! The bartenders move with expediency!
Kid-friendliness: Not at night. It is lit at night! Leave them kids at home.

We went in for lunch and my favorite server from karaoke night was there for us. We also met the owner and told him how much we have enjoyed coming to his restaurant. He said they have been there for 18 years. We had observed him sweeping the sidewalk outside and on the patio. He said,"After 18 years, this place needs to be kept up on." I ate the best catfish and okra platter and my husband had fried mushrooms and a grilled chicken Caesar salad.

I can’t let this go because if I’m dropping $20+ on some wings, I want what I paid for, period. JR Crickets, you’ve completely fallen off. Not only did you serve me dry wings, but the fries were semi-cold, like they had been sitting there rethinking their life choices. The only reason I didn’t demand my money back is because I was exhausted, stuck in Atlanta’s never-ending traffic, and my spouse needed to eat and take his medicine. Otherwise, trust me, we’d be having a different conversation right now.
It was lunchtime, and the place wasn’t even busy. So why was my food prepared like y’all were rushing to clock out early? Sure, the lady at the counter was nice, but niceness doesn’t fix feathers on my chicken, unclean shrimp (yes, I saw the poop!), or cold fries. Let’s not even talk about the wings being dry as the Sahara desert. JR Crickets used to be my go-to wing spot, but now you’re just blending in with every other mediocre restaurant in this city.
What makes y’all think people will keep paying for subpar food? If I wanted B-grade wings, I could’ve saved my money and grabbed a frozen bag from the store. At least when I cook at home, I know it’s seasoned, clean, and made with love. You’ve officially lost me as a customer. I’m done. If I have to cook every single day, so be it, at least I know I’ll get what I’m paying for.
