Absolute trash customer service and business sense. You are still allowing orders till 9:35. I get my order in with two mins to spare and you purposely don’t confirm my order. You closed at 10 when your sign clearly says 11 on Friday. My dasher goes there to pick up the order and the lights are out and it’s locked down with no ppl in side at 10:05?? Food too damn high for you to waste people’s time. They didn’t even bother to reject the order. Left me to deal with jumping through hoops. If you’re closed then why are you allowing orders on door dash. Another black owned business with crap business practices.

The customer service at this place sucked. There was only one person working and he wasn’t pleasant at all. Plus the “lunch specials” only come with fries so if you want a different side you have to pay extra or just get the meal. Probably won’t be coming back here again.

Ordered a veggie plate and this what I received. My macaroni and cheese is watery/oily the candy yams and collard greens taste like they’re straight out of a can . I’m highly dissapointed.

I didn’t vote on atmosphere because I’ve never physically been here ! What I will say is it is consistently delicious!!! One thing they did mess up on was they never put my cornbread in any of my orders ! Except for today ! They remembered haha !!! It was so good !!!! I wish the piece wasn’t so small !!! I mean so good !!! So yes i highly recommend this place !!!! If they ever forget that cornbread again though , I’m giving them a call lol ! So good !

For $45 the food was horrible!

I had a hankering for some soul food, so I headed to the peach cobbler restaurant. The fried chicken was crispy perfection and well-seasoned?.

However, the cabbage could have used a bit more flavor, so I took it home and added an extra pinch of seasoning. The mac and cheese was tasty, and the cornbread was a nice touch.

I'm looking forward to trying some of the other menu items and providing an updated review

I just came all the way home to Acworth and they forgot my cornbread. Please let one person pack the orders instead of trying to rush people out. My mouth was watering for it as you can see how far I drove. Can’t give you 5 stars.

They were out of a lot of things. No cornbread, no paper towels and very limited on sides. I ordered the Whiting and they were out of that. I had already paid for it. I didn't find out until 10min after ordering. I had to pick something else off the menu of equal or lesser price ? I give the girl that too my order a 5 star ?.

I used to go here all of the time because the food used to be on point! Today I went and paid 30 for smothered pork chops rice and gravy cabbage Mac and cheese and peach cobbler. Nothing has any seasoning. Just cooked and put on the steam table. The peach cobbler has NO peaches just crust. I can’t believe it had come to this but I will not be returning. I’ll continue going to the Manna House for my soul food fix.

Just came in for cobbler and boy was it a disaster. Cobbler was runny and was insanely priced. The person who helped me was friendly but didn't properly know the sizes of things and then I had sticker shock when someone else rang me up. Had I known that it was going to be a runny mess, I would have aborted the mission.

Very disappointing. Very overpriced! A 3 veggie , veggie plate and one peach cobbler was $25. Not to mention i was charged $425 for this meal that i am now having to go back and forth with my bank about. What type of scam is this place running !!! I will not be back ever again !!! I only enjoyed my Mac and cheese the greens and black eyed peas were nasty as well as the cornbread.

I came here Saturday 8/24/2024. I purchased a vegetable plate and a peach cobbler. My total was $25.07. These thieves ran my card for $425.07. Now I am having to go back and forth with my bank to get my money back. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!!

I used to frequent the Buckhead location. This is my second visit to this location which has been opened over a year and it’s always an issue.
This will be my last visit.
Problem #1-I came for Ox tails which are listed on the menu and no where on the menu does it say they are not available all the time.
When I place my order only to be told they do not have any. When I question why, told there are not available everyday. I read very well, and no where is this listed.
Problem #2-collard greens had obviously been burnt while cooking because it could be tasted in the greens. Unfortunately I got my food to go and would not be driving back.
Problem #3-piss poor customer service and no sense of urgency.
Problem #4- I understand it’s hot in Atlanta, but the air condition is on full blast, so cold in space I needed a jacket.
Maybe there should a menu board that list what options are available versus the menu board listing everything you can cook, yet is not available daily.
There are so many other good dining options in the area, no need to pay for bad service and menu options not available even though offered on menu board. Somebody tell Ms. Ruby they are ruining her good name!
