I visited on April 10, 2024. The food was not tasty; it was too salty. The peach cobbler was so good.

Loved the soul music playing the entire time. Could hear it from the parking lot. Ordered turkey wings that were really good and tender imo. The next best dish my wife and I had were the yams. Very creamy with the right amount of sugar. My wife's fried chicken also had a great crispiness. I do think the food was a tad over priced but I couldn't argue with the portion sizes none the less. Overall id def go again to try other dishes.

Do not waste your time here!! The Instagram page got my attention and so my friend and I drove 30+ minutes out of our way. Lets list what they did NOT have at 11:30am: Whiting, Greens, Baked Beans, Meatloaf, Turkey Wings, Fries, Yams. The cook was on FT on her phone and said it would take a while to cook. WHY is there not a prep chef there 4 hours before opening.Food 1/10: The Salmon was Ok. The mac had No flavor besides Cheese. The Mashed potatoes def were box mix no added anything. The cabbage had a sugar taste. The cornbread left a medicinal aftertaste! The Tea had NO sugar, the Peach Punch was thick and I had to cut it with the disgusting tea. Definitely NOT worth the prices or the hype.

The customer service was off and the food was basic. The server gave no eye contact, we had to repeat the order twice despite her entering the order in the register before she fixed the plate. We ordered turkey wings, black eyed peas, cabbage and collard greens. None of what we ordered was seasoned, we got the flat part of the turkey wing only. Food was presentable, but just okay in flavor. Customer service makes a huge difference , no way you should have bad service and your food is just okay. Not okay to have good service and bad or good food, but good service will have a person highlight more favorable experiences about your restaurant. On a good note the restaurant was clean and set up nicely.

It is sad for me to say this….but there are NOT very many Afro-American establishments (restaurants) located in Cobb County…..so I tried this place and the place was clean but the service was not that good. Then there’s the food; dried out beans…they could at least add water and stir occasionally, meat seemed to be over cooked or overly seasoned…..they run out of stuff quick…why I don’t know…the peach cobbler was pretty good….but over priced!! Nice place….great location over price…mediocre service. I am sorry, but I don’t recommend….try at your own risk!

Food available in the line was not listed on the menu and what it was and how much it cost was nowhere to be seen. Turns out meatloaf with two vegetables costs $22.48. Want a cup of water? Too bad, you have to buy a bottle. The meat loaf was good, but the turnip greens, dressing, and corn bread all had enough sugar in them to be desserts. Repulsive.

The food is on point. However, the Peach Cobbler for the size of the portion is grossly overpriced! I don't mind paying for good food, but I don't like feeling ripped off. I'm a descent cook myself and I know roughly how much it cost to make. That said, the margin on this has to be around 125%

Delicious Soul Food! I enjoyed the ribs, collard greens, cornbread, and macroni & cheese. The customer service was positive and spot-on. The environment is clean, classy, and above average dining decor. I plan to return for dining!

This place is going downhill fast! Since new people are working the food tastes horrible. I can never get anyone on the phone because of how they have their phone set up. I just spent over $30 on pork chops, collards, Mac and cheese, and yams. None of it has any seasoning or flavor! This is the first time I have ever had undercooked yams with no flavor! What is going on? I try hard to support black owned businesses but they always charge more than the food is worth and while I don’t mind paying more if the food is good, the food quality and flavor is never consistent. Makes no sense to have folk work who don’t care about how the food taste. I’m gonna stick with Willie B’s Sister’s Southern food in Mabelton their food is always good and seasoned. Bye!

Buyer beware. They are severely short staffed. No one is trained on food service so you will wait upwards of 30-45 minutes for an order you placed and then find out the sides are out. Then told you need to wait another 20 mins for them. People were walking out of this place due to the inefficiency. I suggest the owners fully staff and train their staff before continuing service. I ended up getting a refund but I will be surprised if this restaurant lasts another 6-12 mos.
