We went to Panera Paces Ferry Rd location yesterday February 21st 2025. It had been several years sinceI had eaten Panera. It was way better than I remembered. The food was very fresh, new flavors (very exciting), new atmosphere, check out ladies awesome, employees passing by awesome, last but not least GM Michael T was very very awesome !!! Staff are great. Our group came for large dinner/ coffee. We ended up getting lost in conversation so we didn't see the time. Staff were incredibly kind in how they let us know, etc. Rest assured we'll likely be back (but set an alarm so we better respect the employees and their time! ). Apart from that, the 2 who took orders knew the menu, helped patrons with what to order - all with genuine smile on their faces. Good employees

I wish this location met my expectations, but I’m disappointed every time I go. The restaurant seating area is routinely covered in crumbs and fingerprints. The place could desperately use a remodel (not the halfway job they did recently); the floors are grimy and the bathroom never looks clean. I was so disappointed today when the soup in my bread bowl was cold. I took the bowl back to the prep area and the woman admitted she didn’t know if she had put the bread bowl in the microwave for long enough. I thought the soup was kept hot at a food safe temperature? She nuked it again, but only the bread got hot-not a good way to make a bread bowl. I returned because this location is in my neighborhood, but I will go some place else next time.

Very busy which is a good thing and not a fault of the business. The app just needs to reflect how busy that location actually is. My lunch was ready 30 minutes after the app said it would be.
Food was great, but customer service wasn't awful i asked for some jelly for my breakfast sandwich, and the girl tells me she can't hear me and I replied you take the headphones out your ear you can.

I stopped in for a hot cup of soup and sandwich. I got the Autumn soup and the blt sandwich. The star of the meal was the autumn soup! It was creamy and the perfect balance of seasonal spices. I was disappointed the soup was cold. I asked if they could heat up, but it was lukewarm, but I still ate all of it. The sandwich was ok. The reason for 4 stars the dining area needed attention (wipe down tables, sweep floors, etc)

This is a bit of a sad review for me. When Panera first opened it’s very likely I was first line! Organic options, real food, hot and filling, and MOST IMPORTANTLY the food was Good!!! Me and my family are probably responsible for the most consumed salads anywhere at anytime because we were there so much! There was a long time when I ONLY went to Panera.🥺
Now, after the pandemic, you can really see how greedy the big companies have gotten, what with shrinking portion sizes and raising prices; taking out cost, and in most cases flavor and quality.
Additionally at this particular location, you never know what you’re gonna get in therms of service. On this day, the person at the front counter appeared to irked.. at life it seemed.
I’ve noted changes in the tastes of foods that I’ve been consuming for decades. The cheese soufflé is and has been a go to since they first introduced them. However, more and more I go there less and less, here’s why.
I went to Panera about a week ago and ordered my favorite 4 cheese soufflé. It was a pick up order. The first thing I noticed was how light the bag was, but I was so hungry my brain glossed over it. When I back to flat (literally 2 minutes away) I opened the bag. The box seemed about the same size, but the contents were not. The soufflé was shrunk (eyeballing it, about 20%., maybe a little more). It used to be rightly sized and filling. Now, it’s the size for 9 year old, but the price is the same. It lacked any real flavor and the historically flakey outer ring didn’t taste like anything, nor was it flaky.
I am loyal until I’m given reasons not to be. Panera food used to be a solid 10 in my humble opinion, today the new menu struggles to get to 6.
Looking at the pics I took, I should have taken one with the soufflé in the palm of my hand to show how small it really is.
I will say the restaurant was clean with the exception of a spill I had to step over. It appeared that someone was going to come back to it?
Parking: Typically there’s plenty of parking, but as most of the parking lots here, the lot is a little awkward during peak times.
