I was looking for a bakery near me and found Smallcakes Cupcakery Smyrna. I was nervous at first because I have gluten sensitivities, but the staff made me feel comfortable and offered a great selection of gluten free cupcakes. The cupcakes are moist and flavorful, and the custom cakes they made for my celebration were exactly what I wanted with beautiful themed decorations. I also appreciate the wide variety of flavors and the friendly customer service. I will definitely come back for more custom cupcakes and to try other treats.

We live in Colorado and we’re taking our daughter to Atlanta for her 16th birthday to see the whale shark at the Georgia aquarium. I have always done a themed birthday cake for all her birthdays. This being the first out of state I realized late I needed a solution for a cake. We found Smallcakes and she came though big time! She made a custom cake with very short notice and it was beautiful and delicious! The design is meant to simulate the markings of a whale shark. Too cute!

I’m often a loyal fan of ordering bulk cupcakes or individuals when I’m in the area. I often drive to this location from midtown. However, my last two custom orders were a fail. From my 45th birthday custom cake being lopsided and filled with icing to make up the uneven differences, which on the outside you couldn’t see the imperfections until you sliced the overly icing filled, uneven cake. Then my custom company cupcakes being less than the size of the premade store bought cupcakes…. Pure disappointment. It’s hard to settle these kind of issues when you order something custom, then arrive to pick up and you have a to leave with a disappointing product; as there’s no room to fix a custom made item, when you are picking up the day of your event. I no longer have faith in this location and company as a long time loyal supporter for custom made orders.

I give this post five stars Overall, because the smallcakes were delicioso! The service was exceptional. What I mean is the young lady connected with me. When I asked her about the best cupcakeries she let me know her choices and why. She made the atmosphere comfortable, I’m going back! Both the birthday and the strawberry cupcakery was moist and tasty. I hope this helps. You’ll have to taste the cupcakery for yourself❣️👍🏽

My husband and I chose to do a private cake together before our reception. I wanted something elegant, but simple and timeless. That is exactly what I got when I picked up the cake. We actually saved our cake from 9/7/2024 and opened it 1 year later and it was still intact and to our surprise still tasted good. I still remember the rich red velvet cake when we first tasted it during our wedding. Thank you Smallcakes!!

I walked into Smallcakes Cupcakery Smyrna not knowing what to expect, but left with the most delicious cupcakes I’ve had in a long time. The cupcakes were perfectly moist, the frosting just the right amount of sweetness, and they even have a great selection of gluten‑free options.
