Had to wait 35 min for two hotdogs. Hire more help prices too high, quality does not match prices

As of Oct 2024, Hot Dog Factory doesn't have the same quality anymore. I haven't been in awhile and decided to stop by. The first clue should have been the empty parking lot and the extremely faded sign. This place use to be packed during lunch time. I paid 8.25 for a shriveled up hot dogs hidden the topping. Fried oreos were very oily and not enjoyable. Overall, all very disappointing but the guy at the register was really nice.

Previous review 2017: Great variety of hot dogs. The fried oreos are delicious. I like that they have a variety of options other than hot dogs including vegan/vegetarian options. I wish they would have kept the smoke wings on the menu they were delicious.

Came in on Sept 10 at 6:40 and was told they were closed. Just wondering if the owners knew they were turning away paying customers before closing time.

Hands down one of the top hot dog places in the A. Old school diner with a selection of dogs from all over, and they put respect in every name. Chicago dog with Real Vienna beef, Chili dogs with homemade Chili. Prices are very fair! Highly recommend.

The door says they close at 8, but online says they close at 7. We arrived at 6:30 and the door was open, but they had already mopped the floors and shut down the kitchen and refused service. I tried to leave a complaint on the website and there was no answer, they just added my email to their list and started sending me spam.

They provide a pretty good menu and the food is pretty good. Drink fountain needs a little work. Better than varsity which is not saying much.

Atmosphere is ok, service is friendly, fountain machine needs work and product, hot dog is basic as anyone can make. Too many good restaurants in the area to go back. Not awful but no reason to return.

Good hot dogs, very nice young man at the counter, but, the seating area was super dirty, not cleaned at all. The counter at the floor was black dirty. Clean and I might return

Just a heads up, they closed the kitchen 30 minutes prior to closing on a Thursday. I understand it’s not the best to go in near close, but half an hour?
