This Is It! Southern Kitchen & Bar-B-Q

AWFUL don't go here the food is TERRIBLE which is crazy seeing that they have several locations , but this location the cook doesn't know how to cook . The greens tasted burnt and they didn't even remove the stems and the Mac and cheese tasted like they poured a box of sugar it tasted really weired . The chopped bbq looked like Alpo dog food I am so made I am asking for my money back a full refund . I was on my lunch break and was really hungry so this was extremely disappointing.

This was my first time here and my expectations were not that high as the food in Atlanta has been disappointing. This place didn’t sway that feeling!! The service was friendly and place was clean. The food looked amazing sitting there, but WAS NOT!!! I ordered chitterling platter and a side of oxtail. Why did I do that?? The food came to $75?. When I got it, the greens were bland and the chitterlings were just ok. The oxtail side was only 2 oxtails for which I paid $36 ?. The worst I’ve ever eaten in life!! No flavor at all!! The dressing was the only good thing. My friend ordered a rib tip platter. He said the ribs were not only cold but tough as nails!! He did enjoy the mashed potatoes. This place will NEVER get my business again.

So this is Really IT! This location is the best! Mr James is amazing, the food is always on point, the dining room is pristine clean, and Mr James always treats me with respect. I went to the This is It location around East Point with the elevator in it, and had a terrible experience. I ran back to this one. He should have people lined up around the corner! 10 out of 10!

This place is the absolutely, TERRIBLE!!! OLD food, burnt food, the standard is bad and not fresh. Fish was old and cold and 7 nuggets ? The dressing was old, mushy, the turkey wasn't done, and the guy couldnt add or subtract nor read ?
Don't spend your hard earned money here!!! Don't do it‼️‼️‼️‼️

Drove all the way here and they’re closed until June 10th. They could’ve at least updated Google drove an hour away just to find out they’re closed.

Me and Mr. Jones….. We got a thiiiiinnngg going on lol the food and service was amazing. I have been thinking about them lima beans, and okra since the last time I left. It is just like how my grandma used to cook them with that con bread and Mr. Jones. You were so nice and courteous to me doing my visit and I look forward to visiting you all again thank you for the great food and a great customer service.
