Amazing!!! Had the whole catfish, Mac n cheese and fried okra. They even threw in a free cornbread. Everything was delicious. And the peach cobbler is FIRE. He let us taste the sweet potato soufflé and that was good too.

I ordered Liver dinner thru DoorDash and menu states it comes with rice and gravy but I didn't get them, just a dry piece of liver covered in onions, the cornbread dressing was nasty, like it had 6 cups of sugar and the green beans were ok

The service was great. The lady was pleasant and attentive. The food wasnt good. The collard greens had thick stems inside of it , sweet potatoes was like baby mush, meatloaf was grey.

Ordered hickory smoked chicken wings, collards and mac & cheese. The greens were excellent. The chicken tasted old and flavorless (other than some kind of sauce they were awashed in. The mac was runny. I just gave up on everything other than the greens after a few bites. Very disappointed. Wasted a nice chunk of loot. This is a franchise operation.

I recently ordered takeout from This Is It! Southern Kitchen and it was absolutely delicious! I got the chitterlings dinner with greens and yams for a friend, and I ordered the greens with mac and cheese for myself. We both loved every bite. The chitterlings were tender and flavorful, the greens were perfectly seasoned, and the yams were sweet and satisfying. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich—true comfort food done right.

This Is It! is a fantastic soul food restaurant that truly lives up to its name. Everything tasted homemade and full of love. We’ll definitely be back!

I previously gave a 4 star rating. I had to come back and adjust and drop my rating from a year or so ago. The quality of the food has changed. I got the catfish nuggets, mac & cheese, and collards. The nuggets lacked the catfish itself. The mac &cheese used to be baked and had great taste. Now it it is literally cheese sauce and noodles. The collars greens just underwhelming Everthing tasted burned. Just not a great experience.

I dont know who the new owner is. But the chicken was not cooked all the way. The green beans were bland. Who puts onions in brocilli casserole. You all need a AFRICAN AMERICAN COOK IF YOUR SELLING AFRICAN AMERICAN SOUL FOOD.just drive the 20-30 min to the camp creek location.

Idk why I didn’t read the reviews before hand. I Love this is it and it’s Delicious Food, However this location is lackluster and should not even be under the same name… $40 plus dollars for food that wasn’t even edible is disheartening to say the least. I had a tip dinner and my friend had A meatloaf dinner, The rib tips was like stew with burnt, hard tips and mostly fat and gristle. There were 4 whole tips everything else was mush, fat and bones and about 2 cups of greasy bbq sauce. The meatloaf was bland, the greens were bland and slightly undercooked. The Mac n cheese were Overdone and unseasoned. Even the friggin Texas toast was burnt and dry. The only thing that was decent was the lemonade.
