I thought that once the cousins took over the business, it would not be the same as when the brothers managed it. Well, I was wrong!!! Cousins have managed to keep up the same quality food and service. Their barbeque has award winning taste, and their vegetables are cooked fresh, not from a can. I will continue to support them as well bring friends who want excellent grilled meats and flavourful sauces!!!
Today was my 2nd attempt at supporting this business & unfortunately my last. I ordered the rib ends plate and it was barely edible. The Mac & cheese had nearly no cheese, the collards were ok but needed some sprucing up, and the ribs were definitely NOT cooked today. They were so fatty, dried up, and hard! I’ve honestly had beef jerky that was easier to chew. Not even the sauce helped. They weren’t the best bbq the first time we visited, but it was a little better than what we received today. The flavors have a lot of potential but execution needs work. As for customer service, they weren’t rude at all and came to the counter quickly to take my order, but you won’t get smiling faces and warm greetings either.

This is my go to bbq when I am traveling to Atlanta and where I send people when they mention going to Atlanta.In over a decade, the consistent quality and delicious bbq, greens, cornbread, potato salad, brisket, and oh the ribs have never faltered. The gents behind the counter are always kind to a tired traveller who loves the food.We’ve had almost everything on the menu over the years.The chopped brisket sandwich is good good my kids will order multiple meals if possible.Love this place.Long time supporter of local team sports and community events.Vegetarian options: Very limited. Cornbread, Mac n cheese, dessertsDietary restrictions: Paleo and pescatarian friendlyParking: Tons it’s in the back of a shopping center.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited
I have been a customer for a long time and always enjoyed the ribs. Hadn't been in a while since I am no longer in the area but they are 2nd best to my husband ribs and he wasn't in the mood to cook. I did enjoy the food but it just wasn't seasoned as well as usual. I also noticed the change in name on the door and picture hanging over the cashier area so I am going to equate that to the difference in flavor but still good. I will be back and thanks for adding more hours!

Awww nawww, I was mad when I got home with my brisket and salmon. Reminded me of soul food but nursing home style. Mac noodles overcooked, potato salad was whipped like mash potatoes, greens were bland. Brisket sliced in skinny slivers with a bunch of pepper but not bbq flavor. Salmon and cornbread was decent and I was at least able to eat those items. The young men working were polite and restaraunt was clean.
