Over the years, Varner’s Tavern has become one of our favorite go-to spots. They serve the best wings in Smyrna—hands down—but even when we’re not in the mood for wings, their menu has plenty of other delicious options to choose from. Our kids always find something they enjoy too, which makes Varner’s an easy pick for family outings. The service is consistently great, and on the rare occasion something isn’t right, they’re quick to make it right. We’ve brought several friends here over the years, and now it’s one of their favorite spots too!

I enjoy myself everyday I visit.its a fun sports bar but have thick skin on game days it's an eagles bar and im a dolphins fan.

Well, I am now a convert against Varner’s after being a regular trivia goer for over a year with a party size which warranted a $150-200 check each weekly visit. I have suffered from seizures in the past and therefore stick to a ketogenic diet. Varner’s a few months ago discontinued their pork rinds and ever since I’ve brought a store bought, sealed, packaged replacement to pair with the queso without issue.

An individual who simply identified himself as “I’m number two” cited that I was not to bring in any outside food ignoring any explanation. Unfortunately we will now be relocating to a new trivia location, and I hope this number two individual found his actions in the best interests of the business.

Local go-to place for upscale bar food and burgers. Food is usually pretty good and we've always had a good experience with our servers. Wish they would ban smoking imon the deck - esp the weed. 🤮

We’ve been coming here for a couple years and the last few times we’ve come, we just order a simple order of wings and tots, usually to go… They can never seem to get it right… best wings around but for whatever reason the service is absolutely disappointing.

I gave 4 stars because their shots are expensive, $ 8.50 for a shot of crown. Bucket of beer was reasonable priced and the chicken wings were awesome.

We wanted to sit and grab a drink at the bar and you could smoke inside at the bar. Bug disappointment.

Lived around here about 40 years. Never tried Varners. Will never go back. Server snatched the lunch menu off the table at 5 minutes after 3p. Decided to order the cheese fries with bacon...it was suppose to be bacon. I've never met bacon in didn't like...until today. Had ABSOLUTELY no taste. Not salty, not hickory, nothing. Won't be back.
