Being a trini this roti was ok from a scale from 1-5 I would give it a 3 because I had a chicken roti and I rather the chicken cut up into pieces not in whole pieces and it appears that the roti skin was starting to soak up the curry very quickly because it was thin.
If you are going to run a business properly you PICK up the phone. No one is ever able to pick of the phone you can’t buy food in advance by the time you get there whatever you want is gone just because you couldn’t order it ahead of time. Some people work and can’t come pick up the food immediately and you guys make it no easier to order over the phone I don’t have good the food is the service sucks everyone works slow. You guys need to do better or you will lose customers I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.

Authentic Trinidad/Caribbean dishes like Roti, Curry, Doubles, Pholourrie. I get the Goat Curry with Paratha Roti & Doubles. Service can be slow but the staff is so friendly, I can't be annoyed with them. Food is delicious which is why I keep coming back.

Tried De one Roti Shop and I’ve got thoughts. Curry goat roti? Solid. No complaints there. Doubles? Just okay — the channa and sauce were real thick, like they missed the part where it’s supposed to be saucy and flavorful.
Now the bake and shark? That hurt my heart. Trinis know it’s supposed to be breaded and fried shark, whole — not minced shark meat like a buljol. Are y’all stretching the shark?! It felt more like a fusion experiment than a taste of home.
Also… 50 cents for tamarind sauce? Be serious. We don’t have many real Trini spots — y’all gotta come better than this.
Food is good. I had doubles, chicken roti and aloo pie. Hands down the aloo pie is the best. Be aware of the upcharge for the channa. Honestly, the food is decent but the service is slow so don't be in a hurry.
True Trinidad flavor.. Taste like back home.. 😋
