As a former-fan of a widely known competitor, I have to say that Del Taco is an absolute revelation. Prices are fair, service is excellent AND quick (and I mean QUICK), and the portions are more than adequate. My wife and I can eat here for less than $20 and feel full. I'm always skeptical of fast food joints that claim to use fresh ingredients, but this place is the real deal.
Oh, and their shredded cheese actually melts. Game changer.

I don't know what's happened to this place in the last several years, but the food quality has gone way down. Hardly no beef in the taco's. The hard shells have a nasty processed taste. Beef and bean burrito was so runny. The cheese shell thing was so low on cheese, it looked like the two shell pieces were almost touching. Not many people eating here anymore, and were probably not coming back again either. You guys used to be so good. What happened? On the plus side the service was excellent. Just terrible food now
I went here tonight after a long week of work, and I get home with my food go to unwrap my burger and there is mold that looks like an entire eco system is living on the bun! I called del taco and was told to no only bring my receipt and the picture below but also to hold onto the only thing I had to get tonight with my last 12 dollars and look at the moldy burger in my empty that was requested to be brought in the morning, as if I want a replacement burger on a Saturday n my first off for the week! So I will be requesting my money back instead and del taco I hope you see this review in real time! Love no longer a fan!
