This review is long overdue. I happened upon Kakes4U in August while visiting my sister in Loganville. My sister was picking up dinner for our movie night in so I opted to grab dessert. Returning from a day out shopping, I googled open bakeries in the area and chose Kakes4U based on the hours (it was about 5pm on a Saturday) and reviews. I was greeted by Natasha and her son in such a pleasant, welcoming manor I felt like we were immediately friends. I had arrived shortly before closing and they had sold out of mostly everything, but Natasha was accommodating ensuring I knew what was a hit on the menu and what offerings would best suit my palate. I am not a fan of bananas but I had to try the banana pudding...she even whipped up a fresh batch just for me and my family. So amazing! Everything looked so good and my sweet tooth couldn't resist ordering the cookies and strawberry shortcake as well. When my sister, brother-in-law and I finally tried the desserts, we could not believe the party in my mouth! The banana pudding was great, but for me, the piece de resistance was the strawberry shortcake! I consider myself a foodie (I have a foodie blog and travel the world over eating my way through)...this was the best strawberry shortcake I have ever had ANYWHERE!
Moreover, unbeknownst to me, I had dropped my credit card while in the store. I NEVER do this and would have been none the wiser had Natasha not channeled her inner detective and found my social media profile. Not only that, she delivered the card to me. Talk about integrity, honesty and service. She is absolutely amazing and I will support this business every time I am in town!

The Two-Tiered Tuxedo cake was so moist and delicious, designed exactly as requested with strawberry filling, and more than enough for the number of guests. The owner is always available for her customers by phone or email, even if her store is closed. This was my first time stopping by this shop because I wanted something sweet. I saw that they had banana pudding cupcakes and I had try it. These cupcakes hit the mark. Since relocating to Snellville, I had to travel far to another bakery to get my banana pudding, cupcake fixed, but no more! I will be going down the street lol. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her son. They were both very nice and very personable. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying some more flavors.
