Mahjong Chinese Restaurant

I always got the Hunan beef until this last time when I got mint leaves spicy garlic beef and now I have a new go to dish. Only problem is that it is not available as a lunch special.

Im late writing my review, but I was in the mood for Chinese food and got thinking about my most recent visit to this location about three months ago. This used to be my go to spot when I wanted to treat myself. I usually dine alone, but I brought my family here a few times. The service was always top notch and the food was usually very good. The last decent sit down Chinese restaurant in Georgia. However, my experience during my last visit was terrible, so bad that I decided to not come back here. Reading the recent reviews from customers who were also regulars, I see that the customer service and quality of the food has gone down hill. I made the mistake of dining alone as a Black woman late last year, walking into the restaurant right behind a white family. I had no idea the restaurant had renovated and apparently changed ownership, so I was shocked to see the new decor and how cramped the entrance/lobby area was. The family that walked in ahead of me was greeted and seated right away. However, I was ignored and left to stand in the lobby without being acknowledged. I thought with maybe the new layout, the staff simply didn't see me. However, that was no excuse, since usually there was a staff member manning the register at the front. After standing around awkwardly and trying to make myself visible, I took a look at the menu by the register and saw the prices had increased. Annoyed at this point, I left still not being acknowledged. I now see that the restaurant has new management or ownership, so my experience now makes sense.

Best Chinese food that I’ve had awhile. We had the Mongolian beef and shrimp fried rice. There lunch portion are good amount.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Mahjong today. The atmosphere is great, and staff, even though the restaurant was full, were extremely attentive. Service is everything. BUT I MUST SAY THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING!!!

Delicious Chinese and Thai dishes for a reasonable price. The menu is massive so you will be sure to find something you like. My favorites: Crab Rangoon, Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Chicken Fried Rice.

Staff were very friendly and even though our large party arrived close to their closing time, they did not rush us at all. The interior was spotless, and the restroom was elegant, even containing those LED mirrors with brightness adjustment. There’s plenty of parking in the lot and seating options inside. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would visit again.

Excellent quality food. Mongolian beef was the best I've had in a while, trying many Chinese joints (I am on the road a bit). The only disappointing part was the sparse lunch portion. Left me wanting more, and as fast as chinese seams to leave the stomach, I'll likely be hungry again soon.

I recently visited Mah Jong and had a great experience! The new renovations give the place a fresh, modern feel, making it even more inviting. The updated menu offers a great variety of options, including some exciting new Thai dishes that were delicious and perfectly prepared. Plus, lots of vegetarian options! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great Chinese food in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere!

I grew up eating at Mah Jong. I was in town and decided to stop in for lunch. I love the renovations. Unfortunately like everything else prices have increased, portions have gotten smaller, and the service is rushed and rude. Plus the chicken wing that comes with the lunch doesn’t even have sauce anymore. Seems like they are cutting corners to pay for the renovations at the customers expense.
