Sakégura Restaurant

We went to Sakégura for the first time yesterday to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we had an all around wonderful experience!! We initially had a 6pm reservation for a party of 8 but needed to adjust the time earlier at the last minute. They graciously accommodated and were most welcoming and attentive to our family. Everything was set up, including the high chair, when we entered, and the service was expedient, efficient and exceptional. Very, very friendly and professional team. As a family with diverse dietary restrictions, we appreciated the careful attention to ensure clarity when taking our orders. The hibachi chef was also superb, taking time to engage the kids, acknowledge my hubby's birthday and verify the details of each order. The food was perfectly cooked to order with generous portions. Overall, it was one of the absolute best dining experiences we've had in a while. We've lived in the area for five years, and I've shopped in this area regularly but have never tried Sakégura. We've been missing out, but we'll definitely return. My high standards of excellence were exceeded. Thank you Sakégura team!!

I ordered takeout from this place on November 1st. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and a chicken hibachi dinner. After eating a couple of bites of the chicken dish, I caught a glimpse of a long black hair on my plate. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the owner. He offered for me to come back and get a freshly prepared meal, but I did NOT want another meal because I was disgusted. I asked if they were cooking food WITHOUT wearing a hair net? He did not respond. He refused to give my money back, and I told him that I would NEVER eat there again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!

The food tastes really good. My only issue is the up charge for fried rice. I have never seen this prior to moving to Georgia but I believe this is a way to charge extra for nothing. The rice is already cooked and probably a day or two old, why charge customers to put it on the grill. Other than that, the food is decent.

Would give no star, but a star is required to rate… typically have a good experience here, not today. They had an event they were not equipped to handle which led to long waits for regular guest. The manager sat us at a table where the party was finished eating but still sitting almost on the back side of the hibachi table so my view would be the chef and his cart and he’d have to turn around to serve us…. Manager said he was being nice by seating us or I could wait longer, because he thought I was hungry….plus some other stuff… I’m never hungry enough for poor service….he tried to fix it as we were on our way out. Mah Jong is across the parking lot and they don’t disappoint with food or service!!!!

One of the most enjoyable experiences dining out, ever !!! The food is fresh and delicious, and paired with entertainment, the experience is far above any other Hibachi. Our chef was so charming, funny, talented, and interactive... it was a night of tasty fun that far exceeded my expectations ! We had a large party of 10 and everyone had a blast ! He aimed food in 4 of our mouths off his knife from across the grill, and it was a slam dunk each time ! He was funny and kept the night moving with his impeccable skills and great personality. If you are looking for fun entertainment and a fresh, delicious meal, this is the place to go. You will have a truly memorable experience.

Had not been to this restaurant in years and decided to grab take out with the fam. OMG IT WAS AWFUL!!! I mean awful. Rice has sausage, bacon, & onion in it!!!! My daughter would not touch it. Persuaded her to at least taste the chicken…30 minutes later she was throwing up. I tasted the chicken it was hard and certainly not teriyaki!! Okay, let’s try the vegetables… are you kidding me! NO TASTE NOT SEASONED AND SWIMMING IN WHAT LOOKED LIKE BUTTER & WATER!!! Do not waste your money!!! Maybe, it was because we ordered to go. ?‍♀️

We loved their fried rice and it's one of the reasons it's our favorite hibachi place.

We visited last night for my best friend's son's birthday. We had a very large group but our chef was amazing. Between his jokes and his cooking, we had a great time. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
