Food taste like it’s been cooked for a whole nothing was fresh. Plantains were old & soggy. I had the brown stew chicken & my boyfriend had oxtails wouldn’t recommend at all.

Literally the BEST Jamaican restaurant in Atlanta, this spot is a hidden Gem, you’ll be fooling yourself if you don’t give this spot a try.
Old man does it all himself and he’s super positive and welcoming, I call him Grandpa at this point.
I tried the Jerk chicken and Beef Patty. Hands down the best Jamaican food.
It’s a To-Go style so food doesn’t take long to come out.

Horrible customer service i send my pregnant wife there yesterday am she doesn’t know how to express what she wanted so I told her to put the phone and speak he refused to speak with also a lot of people has been complaining about the spice levels so I just wanted to make sure she (wife ) was able to eat and enjoy so he started to have a attitude with her and began sharing the food then he was like hand signing her off POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE A BETTER ALTERNATIVE IS EscovitcheZ Restaurant - Snellville
I came in excited to try the food, but left completely thrown off. I was on the phone with someone Jamaican who speaks Patois, just helping me order. The cashier randomly caught an attitude and refused to give me my food after making the plate. For what? Only meat I saw was jerk chicken, and it looked like it had been sitting out all day. Everything looked mid anyway — glad I didn’t waste my money. Won’t be back. Went to Escovitchez instead, sooo good and customer service was a lot better

This place used to be really good ten plus years ago. I decided to try it this past weekend and it was disgusting to say the least. Mushy rice, overcooked plantain, and red snapper was not fresh. I feel like this food was cooked days before it was actually served to us. Experiences like this is why I don’t fool with Jamaican food spots anymore. Not all y’all should be running a restaurant.
Always fresh and large portion size. Always nice atmosphere. Service is wonderful…quick.

Not to self: don’t come back. Grilled jerk chicken came with a red sauce that I didn’t ask for, and while the chicken was spicy it was still under seasoned and didn’t taste like it was marinated; the plantains were overcooked and overripe, the vegetables were mushy, and the rice was a cheap grade (a jasmine). Do not come back.

When we arrived we wasn’t greeted with hello. The guy was being smart at the mouth and told us go to McDonald. He was rushing us with our order. Never will return there again.
Brown stew chicken was not good 🤷

I’ve been going here for over 10 years. Food is always fresh and Always friendly and they have the best plantain hands down although I shouldn’t be sharing this info because he sells out fast and it’ll be harder for me to get. Lol. Please support.

This is the WORST Jamaican food I have ever tasted! They are obviously not Jamaican but Ja Faking! The oxtail was overpriced and was like ketchup. My girls curry chicken was white bland no seasoning and tasted like garbage. This is not a good representation of Jamaican food at all! Negative 5 🌟

Great food, oxtails, jerk chicken and ribs are my favorite
First time trying this place today the food was fresh and not salty definitely coming back here to try other entrees for sure
This is for you if you like spicy food. I got the jerk chicken with brown stew sauce with rice and peas and plantains and cabbage. My bro got oxtails plate and beef rib and he threw away his rice and peas because of the heat and spices. I went here on 2/19/2025.
