Today, On Christmas, my husband went in and got an All Star. Took a bite of the grits and tried to swallow but something wouldn't allow the grits to go down. He went into a coughing frenzy, choking almost. Finally he was able to spit it out. There was a piece of cleaning brillo pad inside his grits. Like wow. Super scary.

Awesome spot to get breakfast great eggs and waffles awesome hash browns. Delicious eggs with well cooked meat and the chicken was yummy too. Highly recommend it for breakfast

Be careful this place tries to add 10% to all take out orders. They are forcing people to tip. I refuse to be forced to tip anyone. So I left without getting the food. Highly recommend not eating here either.

Disappointing experience at waffle The service from Makala and Karen was unfriendly and inattentive. I understand being busy, but there's no excuse for poor treatment. Luckily, a gentleman and a new lady on the team were incredibly kind and made an effort to ensure our experience was better. Clearly, Makala and Karen could benefit from training on customer service and treating people with kindness. Maybe focus on spreading the positivity and friendliness that some of your team members embody.

It is the sanctuary of diners. Good place to get a quick bite or hang out with friends after a concert or Sunday Church. The food was very well made and the prices are reasonable. I would come here for coffee and Waffles all the time.

I visited the Waffle House at 1960 Main St. East Suite B, Snellville, GA on August 26, 2025 around 2:42 AM, and the experience was humiliating, traumatizing, and completely unacceptable.
I live with a disability and placed my order clearly and calmly, but it had to be remade three times. Instead of patience and respect, staff dismissed me—and falsely accused me of being intoxicated, calling the police on me. I do not drink or use drugs and offered to be breathalyzed.
Despite my cooperation, four or more squad cars showed up, treating me like a criminal. I was left outside, struggling with my disability, vomiting, physically ill, and emotionally traumatized. I also felt fear for my safety and for leaving home after this event.
Harassment is no joke, nor are false allegations. This caused both physical and emotional trauma, and it affected my ability to work, rest, and feel safe. One young lady at the register was kind, but the rest of the team acted without empathy, responsibility, or professionalism.
I am sharing this to warn others and to demand accountability. No one should ever be treated this way for simply being a customer, disabled, and respectful.
I had one of the most humiliating experiences of my life at this Waffle House (1960 Main St. East, Snellville, GA) on August 26, 2025, around 2:42 AM.
I came in as a paying customer, with a disability that affects my mobility, simply wanting to eat. My order had to be remade three times due to repeated mistakes. Instead of listening to me, the staff treated me dismissively.
What happened next was traumatizing: staff called the police and falsely accused me of being intoxicated. I do not drink or use drugs. Despite offering to be tested and fully cooperating, I was surrounded by multiple police cars as if I were a criminal—while struggling physically outside the restaurant. I was eventually let go because there was no evidence against me.
This was harassment, false allegations, and discrimination. No customer deserves to be treated this way—especially someone living with a disability. The only positive note was one young lady at the register who showed me kindness and respect.
This experience left me shaken and sick. I am pursuing accountability. Harassment is no joke, and false accusations can destroy lives.
There’s more; trust we’re NOT done with this.
I appreciate the female standing out front as cashier on duty; if it wasn’t for you, this would have gone higher than it’s gonna go. I’ll make sure you’re rewarded and you better not get fired/terminated (Please stay out of this ma’am).

Came here at like 3:30AM after I got off work. The server and cook were nice but as I was eating, they were talking to each other about things that I don't think anyone would want to hear while eating. They were talking about some stuff in the trash and the girl who served me said that this is the worst job she's ever had. I was the only patron in there at the time, but still. Like they could've waited until I left to talk about things like that. The only reason for 3 stars is for my waffles being cooked the way I asked and being very delicious. Will not be back otherwise.

I’ve been in town for a few weeks and have been eating at #1704 every weekend. The food is good, the coffee is hot, and there’s a good group of folks behind the counter! I really look forward to Saturdays and/or Sunday mornings!

Such a great experience! Def our go to Waffle House from now on! That kitchen is ran like a tight ship! Kitchen manager is great and praises his staff for their good work. Our waitress was super attentive and sweet. Food was timely and delicious, I mean what more can you ask for!! Thank you snellville Waffle House!
