I was visiting from out of state in September . I ordered a Chai latte, cappuccino, and 2 bagel sandwiches for my husband and I. The staff was friendly and the bagel sandwiches were so good. I ordered to go but wish I would of had the time to eat there because it was so cute inside.

First time coming to this location and I love it! Such a cool vibe in here and the coffee was just as amazing as the Covington location. Get an iced BnB, you won’t regret it!

Coffee is good. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Ordering a simple cup of coffee can take 10 to 15 minutes.

Live local, visit often and love this place but the dessert selection looks sadder and sadder every time I visit.
Back again 3 months after the review above. Such a shame to see a place so full of potential so poorly managed. Almost a completely empty beverage cooler, same dried up macaroons in the display case, one other type of pastry on display, no slices of cake, no buffalo chicken, no wraps for any kind of wrap, and 4 chocolate chip cookies which I purchased all of and each one is hard….
Breaks my heart to know at this rate, it will close down just like most of the shops do in Social Circle.
Back again after a few months of not visiting. Brought my kids in and sadly find more of the same…Empty shelves. How sad.

This coffee shop has the perfect small town, cozy feel. They have a fantastic menu with both healthy and splurge options. It was formally the general store and has some of the fixtures and signage that give that bygone era feeling. We had the drip coffee, croissant sandwich and yeast bun with sausage and cream cheese and all were top notch.

Great place! Good coffee and food, and the atmosphere is perfect for a little downtown coffee shop. Lily A. and her fellow servers did a great job, and I will be back. Keep up the good work!

The coffee is respectable, and coming from a guy that lived in Seattle for two decades, that is saying something. They used to use a flavored syrup for their Mochas, and not actual real chocolate syrup/sauce. I am not sure is they have fixed that fatal flaw, but the food and desserts are top notch, The cheesecake rivals Junior's, and that is high praise.
The service is excellent, and they seem to get along well, despite the two baristas seemingly ignoring the young lady working the register, which annoyed me (to be honest), as she was the most polite, and efficient employee of all, she set the tone of the experience, the nonchalant leader.
Anyone, if you want a good cup of Joe, and a tasty snack, in a jazzy and laid back spot... Check out Bread and Butter in Social Circle, GA.

I’ve been to all their locations over the years and the conclusion is their coffee and food aren’t good. Coffee is weak and doesn't taste good. Cappuccinos are colored hot milk, you can barely taste the coffee. Food is less than mediocre. Very “Sysco Food Service” premade tasting.. think hospital cafeteria.
But my biggest gripe was service at the Social Circle location. I normally wouldn’t have even walked in but I wanted to get my kids a treat while we were in the area. We walked in and there was one person at the front. Owner’s son. He didn’t acknowledge us for 10 minutes despite us being the only people in there except for one lady sitting down. We were literally standing in front of the cash register and he would not make eye contact with us at all. Meanwhile he is talking to the lady sitting down while he’s rushing to do something behind the counter. He then disappears into the kitchen for 5 minutes, still not acknowledging our presence. My 7 and 4 year old are asking me why he isn't talking to us. He pops out of the kitchen and yells out, “sorry about that” and proceeds to leave the counter and sit down with that lady. Apparently they had some sort of meeting. HE STILL didn’t even look at us!! He left the counter empty while we were still standing there. Unbelievable. My children were upset with him and told me that he wasn’t a good worker. Imagine your young kids even noticing. We walked out never to walk back into any of their awful, waste of money and time locations.

Great spot for coffees, pastries, and healthy eats! It was my first time trying an acai bowl and it was very delicious. Very cute space with high ceilings, lots of natural light, and plenty of comfy seating.

I just ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and paid $10 for it so imagine my surprise when there was no chicken in it. I took it back to the register and the girl behind the counter literally said “I’m sorry about that” and disappeared into the kitchen, never to return. Needless to say I won’t be back which is sad because I love the Covington location.

I’ve been going to the social circle location great service but I’m very displeased of knowing that the hard working employees aren’t allowed to keep their tips they worked so hard to be able to collect
ALLOW THE EMPLOYEES TO KEEP TIPS!!
