Simply the Best Wine!
Evan was absolutely amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you for showing our group a great time on this rainy Saturday afternoon. To anyone looking to visit, I recommend Scarlet Fox and Bonny Blueberry! #shopsmall #supportsmallbusinesses #shoplocalvendors

We visited this winery a few months ago on our trip to Covington. The wines are okay but on the sweet side. The winery was empty, and the person who was there, although not unfriendly, seemed bothered by our presence. We bought a couple bottles to try at home, however, the cork on both bottles couldn't be opened and ended up in the inside of the bottle (not sure if this has happened to anyone else). We will definitely not be coming back to this winery.
Laid back little vineyard with a good selection of sweet wines.
Quick stop...just to try a new winery. Was not that impressive compared to small wineries I have been in.
Had a delightful time chatting with Ken and sampling his wine. A lovely experience.
Such a great time at Fox Vineyards. Great service and wonderful selection!
The wine was not bad but the atmosphere was disappointing. Looking through the reviews it seemed like a fun place check out. There wasn't a ton of information on the website and we don't live close so wanted to get some details before we drove out so my mom and sister both ended up calling and asking some questions the day before. When we arrived he seemed nice enough but expressed some annoyance with the calls. We were having a nice time doing the tasting and a few other people joined which was fun at first. The longer we were there it seemed like the man that was working there (he mentioned multiple times he was not the owner) did not want to be there that day or was annoyed with the group that was there. A couple ladies showed up that were very nice but about 30 minutes in another lady came in saying she cut her finger and decided to stop on the way to or from the hospital (the story changed a couple of times but she did have stitches in her finger). The man became ruder the longer we were there (we stayed about an hour I would guess). We ended up deciding to buy a bottle since we were having a good time but apparently you can't buy a bottle and drink it inside the building. The man told us we could go to the pavilion in the back and hang out there. We decided to do this and requested he open a bottle for us to share. However, there were no chairs or tables just a concrete floor and a roof. We asked if they had chairs but he said they didn't. It would have been fine if he didn't make it seem like a viable option and opened wine for us which we then had to put in our car and drive away with an open container or sit/stand on the concrete and drink.
TLDR; Wine was good but atmosphere and employee were very disappointing and misleading.
The nice gentleman working here was very kind and informative. This wasn’t like a hip and flashy winery- it felt more personal and home-like. ?
