Ok Milledgeville and surrounding area. Look we used to go to Texas roadhouse or Longhorn to enjoy a good steak. Well Let me tell you something. Hands down the best steak Is just right outside of Milledgeville 972 Sparta hwy. Sparta Ga. If you haven't been to Down South Seafood, you are missing out on not only great seafood. But the best Ribeye steak in my opinion, in the whole state of ga. It literally melts in your mouth, and is so tender. The food is amazing and the customer service Is Outstanding. They are only open Fridays and Saturdays for dinner, so you need to make plans and take your whole family there for an awesome dinner experience. Great people own this restaurant. By the way, thats fried corn. Excellent!!!

My wife and I ate here just swinging through I had the ribeye steak and she had the large shrimp plate. The ribeye steak is cooked on a flat top I believe just salt and pepper for taste but let me tell you it was melt in your mouth. I did not taste any of the shrimp but my wife said they were delicious. Hush puppies were delicious. This is a good place to eat I recommend the steak it’s very simple but the meat quality is what sets it apart from others. We will eat here again!

This place was awesome! Normally when I go to a seafood restaurant I order seafood, however the 14oz ribeye sounded really good so I tried it and added shrimp. Let me tell you that was an amazing decision because that was one of the best steaks I have had. This place is definitely worth the drive! Great food, great people and great service!
