Paddles is a small little coffee shop right in the middle of town. I do not care for coffee but the sandwiches, wraps, and baked goods are fantastic. My wife brings something home everyday and its always delicious.

Food tastes good but I don't believe I've ever ordered here and received the correct order. Either they put the wrong flavor in the coffee, put the wrong item on a sandwich, not toasted when it should be, or leave something out. People are nice. Atmosphere is nice but cramped.

Food options are excellent and priced well, though a bit on the small side. Might be a business strategy though, because getting a savory and sweet option is the way to go.

Beverage menu has staples and seasonal options which are almost always a hit. Sometimes a little too sweet.

Atmosphere is welcoming unless they're busy and they are understandably focused on getting orders out. Decorations/ furniture is a little dated but comes with plenty of character to make the place cozy.

I have been to Paddles multiple times. I’ve ordered online once, first thing in the morning on my way to drop the kids off at school in bulloch county. You would think first thing in the morning ordering before leaving home for it to be ready around 6:45am, your drinks would be ready. When I got there, nobody was in line and there weren’t any coffee cups waiting to be made. I still had to wait around 10mins to receive my drinks. It was only two small smoothies and an iced latte. Every time I go in, there is no sense of urgency with the ones who make the drinks (specifically). I have noticed that the cups get mixed up in order and some get their drinks within 5mins of ordering while the others are waiting 25mins after ordering. There is no structure or sense of urgency, especially on busy mornings. This morning I waited 30mins in line and about 30 mins after ordering. The coffee and food are great, but most of the employees act like they don’t want to be there and have no motivation to work; especially the young ones. I will be back, BUT there seriously needs to be more organization (time stamps) and speed with drinks. They may be there all day, but in consideration of the customers, they may have somewhere to go at a specific time and cannot wait forever for their order. With the amount of time that it took everyone to get orders done, I could have sat in the Starbucks drive thru 4x during peak hours.

I live out in Springfield and I have been to this location several times. Every time I have been the staff act the exact same. No one really greets you, they’re not personable and they act like you’re inconveniencing them. Especially the redhead at the cash Register. The only person that seems to have much of a personality is the owner. Most of her staff are teenagers a.k.a. GenZ so their work ethic depicts just that. I decided to give them another chance. I went in and ordered two scones and a large iced coffee. There was only one person ahead of me when I went in. They were not busy. I walked outside for about five minutes came back inside to get my coffee surprisingly it still was not ready. The barista had just finished the woman’s coffee ahead of me. She was moving like a snail. She had zero sense of urgency whatsoever. After I ordered about 8 other guests came in and ordered. I was the last person to get my coffee. It took them over 25 minutes to give me a coffee. The last time I checked you make orders in the order that they are received. I was very frustrated and it was probably known when I walked out the door. I will not be back. Food is good. Coffee is mediocre at best.

I really enjoy going here, the staff are always very polite and helpful when making choices. The food is always very fresh and tasty and they have a wide variety of pastry/baked goods options if you want to grab something and go.

I'm a hyper critical person, so when I say there are NO NOTES when it comes to Paddles (the establishment, the food / drinks, and the people that make it happen) it has some real weight to it!!! Truly feels like a treat to be able to visit this place and have somewhere around that's a reminder of the value of non corporate establishments serving the communities of the surrounding small towns! =) THANK YOU PADDLES TEAM!!!!!!!!
