It blew our minds that there were 5 entrances to this restaurant, but not one of them was accessible.

Dined twice at Seagles. Grilled shrimp, grouper and scallops were excellent. Enjoyed the evening view while dining on the sidewalk out front. Met the owner Bert,,,a very nice and engaging man.

Perfect for our overnight stop in St. Mary’s. Good location across from the ferry dock. Crab bisque was hearty , tasty, and filled with crab meat. I had the appetizer serving of fried oysters - 8 huge, juicy, and perfectly fried oysters. Husband had the scallop dinner - excellent, authentic, and plentiful! Service was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.

I loved the food at Seagles and it was very convenient since the restaurant was located inside my hotel. On the first evening, the server was great and very attentive. Unfortunately, on the second evening, the server was unfriendly, slow, and disorganized. The food was still very good, though on my second visit.

We went with a group and had a few issues with menu items not being available. The food was just alright but the lighting is HORRIBLE! Cold white bulbs made our entire party look sickly. No one wanted to come back and sit under the hideous interrogation lamps again! Nice location but bad ambiance. Bar drinks were good.

We wanted to try the Seagles since we are staying in the Riverview Hotel. After driving today we did not want to go out exploring and just ate close to "home". Our choice was not a mistake. The salads were fresh and the dressings tasty. The fish and chips was excellent with very flavorful fish cooked perfectly in a light batter. The scallops with bacon jam sounded interesting and was excellent as well. Since we had not wanted a heavy dinner this was perfect. We also had some carrot cake which was good but not excellent - it was a little dry. Service was great. You can choose to eat on either the bar side or the restaurant side - the bar side had a band the night we were there - they were good but the music would be a little loud for eating!

We had a most excellent dinner of fresh seafood - mussels in wine, scallops, fresh catch -superbly prepared. After recently spending time at a high end resort, this restaurant, on the end of our trip, was higher quality, better service....an excellent meal with excellent staff and excellent service. Don't pass up this gem on your visit to St. Marys.

St Mary's is lacking in restaurants! We looked around and this place was right on the main street near the ferry dock. There were locals on the outside patio drinking and eating so we figured it was a good option for dinner. We had the burger and fries. Both really good and when my husband says the fries are good they are!! Beer and wine are cheap with a great selection. . The wait staff (once we got settled) was very attentive and friendly. We would eat here again. Also, dog friendly!!

Excellent food and drink, was greeting when we entered, and took no time for our server to arrive. I eat 1st with my eyes and my servings were visible applying and just as tasty, wonderful place to dine.

I came here with my brother to have a nice relaxing cocktail. There's pretty much two sections to this restaurant. There's the front section where there's a few tables overlooking the main street. Then you can go around on the other side of the restaurant and there's an outdoor seating area which we decided to go to. To me, it's a nice local stop if you're not expecting gourmet food. This is a really good pub food and good drinks. We had a guy on stage in the back playing his guitar which was also nice.

When we showed up to dine at Seagles there was no one to greet us. Then a person came and asked how many in our party and led us to a table overlooking the street/river. Our server was apparently also the bartender so she was super busy. Unfortunately, she was not friendly, nor did she tell us the catch of the day, which would have made us choose it instead of what we did order. It wasn't until the table next to us was seated with a different server that we realized we weren't asked if we wanted to sit in the dining area or in the speakeasy. We also realized there were specials we didn't hear about. Our server was not friendly, her attitude was why are you here. On the flip side, our food was absolutely delicious. We would return to this restaurant if we had a better server who wasn't also the bartender.

I’m not sure what happened to some of these other reviewer’s that rated this restaurant so poorly, but we had a good experience. We were staying at the hotel, and this was a convenient option. We were seated right away, the service was great, the food was good. I didn’t have any complaints. We did eat at a slow time of the day before the dinner rush, so that could be a factor. I had the cheesy grits with shrimp, and I enjoyed them. Our server was Julie, and she was very nice and saw to our every need.

Unpretentous little cafe , had great Hamburger and fish and chips on pet friendly patio . The waitress , who worked lunch on 12/26 did an outstanding job of juggling many hats . Would definitely return .

Do not visit this business. I called on Christmas Eve morning to inquire about dining in the restaurant Christmas Eve. When I get there at 8 PM the waitress tells me they're closed that their kitchen staff called out. So at 8 o'clock on Christmas Eve my family and I have no place to eat dinner. Talk to the manager basically told me that's not her problem we need to figure out something else. highly recommend go someplace else do not waste your money at this location
