I truly do love this place. Especially since they started the weekend buffet. I wish I could remember my server's name. He wore a Hello kitty shirt and had a blue streak in his hair. This guy was awesome. pleasant and professional, but then again ALL the workers were!

My husband and I were told about this place by a friend from church. We decided Friday to check them out and were not disappointed. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and vibrant welcome and quickly seated. Our server was incredible. He was attentive, friendly, outgoing and let us know how things worked. Food was excellent and anything we ordered from the menu came out promptly and without delay. Ten out of ten restaurant. Cannot recommend enough. We plan to become regulars.

So first our waiter was great. No issue thier. The restaurant seemed to have a good clean atmosphere about it. This was our first time in. My wife ordered the chicken quesodillia and wast happy with her meal. I ordered the Texas Fajita. A little disappointed in that. When it arrived it was not sizzling at all. The green peppers did not seem to have been cooked long enough. Probably needed a little bit longer to cook. If the plate is not sizzling for fajitas Probably should not bring it out. Buy other than that it was OK. Will go back and try it again soon. May have just been a busy day for this place. Thanks

I've been to Compas before, and the food was good, but this time it was sub par. The cook could use a few tips. The service was wonderful though, and I would still probably come back when I'm craving Mexican.

The ambiance is a small, family-style, restaurant, with lots of wood furniture. We went there for an early dinner and there was no wait. We were seated immediately, and our server Amanda was friendly and attentive the whole time. She constantly checked on us and refilled drinks without us having to ask.

We were brought out chips & salsa almost immediately after being seated. The chips were very fresh and the queso and salsa dip were tasty. I ordered the quesabirria, which came with consume. The beef was very tender and juicy, but there was barely any cheese and the taco could have been fried a bit more in my opinion. The consume was standard.

My mom ordered the steak, chicken, and chorizo plate that came with rice. She complained that it was too salty, but instead of sending it back she tried to put lots of lemon juice on the meats to be able to eat it. She did end up telling our server Amanda, who was kind enough to remove it from the bill. Amanda apologized and explained that there was a new chef working that night. The sweet tea was fresh and good.

Although our food was mid this trip, I've had some good dishes at Compas before and would still come back to give them a try.

Food is ok , lightly seasoned. Everything was going ok until I saw a roach crawling on the window sill. I notified who I thought was the manager and he just made excuses like we have a restaurant next door. They come in a lot with packages. Now I understand that restaurant's might have bugs but this is the first restaurant I have seen in a long time when they are out in the open. I will not be returning. you know what they say if you see one there are a lot more that you don't see. Now for the good, our waiter was on top of getting empty plates off the table and keeping our drinks full without us asking. So I did give him a decent tip.
