Once again, Dad and I had an amazing lunch at Locals Dockside in St. Marys, Georgia. As returning customers, we can confidently say this place never disappoints. The service was excellent — a special shout-out to Paula for being so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Crab cake was disappointly mushy, absolutely NO lump meat as stated on menu. Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. Server was pleasant, but it took a while after we were seated for her to come to the table. Interior clean, but a little stark and cold with bright celing lights. Location on the water and the sunset was beautiful.
All of the locals recommended this place, so we had to check it out. Now, I can see why. Four of us went here for dinner last night. Two of us ordered the all you can eat shrimp platter, I got the Fried Oysters platter and our landlubber friend had Fettuccine Alfredo. We all enjoyed our dishes. Cooked to perfection. Oh, on the all you can eat shrimp platter, the ladies did not order a second round.
