I can't believe it's taken me this long to leave a review for Riverside Cafe. Absolutely top notch food in downtown st marys. If you're trying to pick a place in St marys (or anywhere in camden county) this is one of the best choices you will make. You will be so pleased with your choice to eat here you'll want to tell everyone you know.

Our second visit. Food was delicious. I would suggest for our server to write down the order so mistakes aren't made. The sauce on the cheesecake is good but doesn't belong there. It takes away the delicious cheese cake flavor. Our dining room entertainment was watching the cook feel up one of the waitresses behind the counter ? yeah we saw you! ?

My lasagna was good, but we were annoyed they wouldn’t serve chicken strips to my wife. They have chicken strips on the kid’s menu, but don’t have an adult version and wouldn’t let an adult order from the kid’s menu, nor did they find a way to make it work (up charge and add a strip to the kid’s version or something). Just a poor service choice imo. She got a burger that was just okay. The fries were good.

I have family visiting from New Smyrna and decided to take her to Riverside. Our server was Jess. She was phenomenal!! Bubbly, lively, and very knowledgeable of the menu and specials. Quick to take our orders, she made recommendations and steered us in the right direction.
The food was great!!! The gyros were the best I have had outside of Greece with the best warm pita bread. The chicken salad gyros were quartered and easily a couple if inches thick. Twice fried fries put the meal over the top. Lastly, I ordered baklava and was amazed how good it was.
A good tip is 15 percent...25 percent for great service....I decided to tip Jess about 33 percent based on the way we were treated and her enthusiasm about the job and making sure we were taken care of. When we return (and we will), I will ask for Jess to be our server.
