San José Mexican Restaurant

Okay we ate here three times. What's that tell you got the lunch buffet twice and once for dinner and it was very good. Lots to choose from.
The wait staff was very pleasant and friendly.
We found the restroom and restaurant to be very clean.

My husband and I shared the Texas rice plate. It was delicious and perfect for lunch. Waitress was excellent.

My family ate here for the 1st time and we enjoyed the food but the service was lacking. We wanted to order dessert but we sat around for at least 15 minutes after everyone was finished eating before we could find our server and asked for the check instead. Restaurant didn't seem that busy at the moment. Regardless, we would eat there again

I love hard tacos,had the buffet,and eight tacos .I left happy.

Had the Texas Rice, it was great. Real surprised by the size and number of shrimp with the meal

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on our way to St. Augustine from Asheville. We appreciated the volume of the music at this restaurant. After driving for 6 hours it was nice to unwind and eat in a calm place. Our server was very nice and our food arrived quickly. I ordered a spinach quesadilla which was very yummy and super inexpensive. My husband's meal was a bit bland he said but he likes things very spicy. Overall, good food for a great price.

Such good fresh food! The steak tips burritos are so meaty! I will definitely do it again for a date night! Also, they have all day 2 for 1 house margaritas and draft beers. The staff are awesome.

Our 2nd visit to this restaurant while staying at Crooked River SP. Both times I enjoyed the Carnitas Street Tacos which were delicious. Hubs had the shredded chicken taco salad which had lots of chicken. The chips are a bit thick and bland (no salt) for my taste, but the salsa was just good……just hot enough. My first Top Shelf margarita was a bit more potent than the one I had this visit, but both were very good. Will visit again when in this area!

Amazing Authentic Mexican Cuisine!

We recently dined at San Jose’, and it was an awesome experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm, vibrant atmosphere made us feel like we were back in PHX.

The food is absolutely exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I highly recommend their JUMBO chimi and flautas which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The guacamole was fresh and creamy, and their homemade salsas added the perfect kick to every bite. I recommend that you ask for the hot habanero salsa.

The service was equally outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to offer warm chips and fresh salsa. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. Don’t miss their BOGO house margaritas

Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion, San Jose’ is the place to go. Five stars all the way! Can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu.

Lunch menu is extensive and most under $10. 2 for 1 drinks too! Best Mexican in St Marys/ Kingsland.

The staff was very friendly and for the most part good with refills.

As far as the buffet goes, we were informed by staff it was going on until 2. We arrived around 1230 and upon approaching the buffet we realized most of the items were already taken and the food slots were empty.

We got food from what was available and even attempted to stick around to wait for more options. We were there about 35 minutes and no once did they restock any empty containers.

We saw new customers coming in for the buffet and walking away when they realized it was empty. Some customers were grabbing from the little that was left and sitting there waiting for more food that did not come. I understand if they were slammed but there were only 3 or 4 tables seated at the buffet area and no one single container was replaced. Just not worth the buffet.

Amazing food for the price!! You can’t find mexican restaurants like this anymore nowadays. Huge burritos and tacos. Plus excellent cheese dip. Great find

San Jose hosts our Back to School Party and our Annual Christmas Party. Their food is delicious, their staff friendly and efficient, and prices are affordable. Thank you San Jose!
