What a great lunch! While visiting family stationed at King's Bay Naval Station, we made the short drive into lovely St Marys. A cute town even on a rainy afternoon. Lunch was delicious. Their new menu was diverse with many tantalizing options. Taking the server's suggestion, I had the chicken salad sandwich. Yummy toasted Texas toast filled with a tasty homemade chicken salad accompanied by the best, crispiest French fries I've had in a long time! Others had the chicken Caesar wrap, fried okra (yum!), the shrimp and Mac & cheese kid's meal, and the mahi tacos. All were superb. It's a small rustic little place very comfy and casual. I'm sure it's a local's favorite. Definitely worth a stop!

This is, hands down, our favorite restaurant in town. We went for breakfast one day, on a whim, and it was incredible in every way! We now go about once a week or order take out. The food is CONSISTENTLY amazing, the service is always fast and friendly, and the price point is honestly refreshing compared to other places in town with similar menu items. There’s options for every budget, and they are all delicious! Last night, my boyfriend and I ordered the ribeye special and the mahi tacos, and we both agreed it was the best meal we have had in a very long time! The staff worked very well as a team to make sure we were taken care of, our server, Cara, and the outside bartender were so nice, and on top of everything! The atmosphere with the live music was perfect. SRW has definitely won us over, and now I hardly want to go anywhere else for date night! If you’re debating about eating here, do yourself a huge favor, and give it a try!

The Southern Riverwalk Is brand-new to me. I just took notice of the place. Evidently I've been driving by it for a year. Today I took notice because there was a gentleman sitting outside on the corner at a table enjoying a cup of coffee as I was driving by. So I stopped in and to my pleasant surprise I discovered a nice little quaint eatery as I walked in and admiring the well organized shop and counter space. I was warmly greeted at the counter cooler display that was well stocked with a very nice assortment of cookies, pastries and quiche. I choose a ham quiche heated perfectly of which was very good. There was a nice, busy little crowd of customers pleasantly enjoying themselves. I was warmly welcomed with the comfortable handshake from who I believe was the owner. I think this shop will be here for years to come. I certainly hope so at least. It's another bright little gem in downtown St. Mary's.
