Oh my goodness! If I could award this spot 10 stars, I absolutely would—it's that phenomenal. I'd happily park across the street just to savor a meal here. I was already impressed by the Widower sandwich, but then I tried a bite of the Banana Cream French Toast, and it was utterly mind-blowing—decadent layers of creamy banana goodness on perfectly toasted bread, with flavors that explode in every bite. Seriously, this place is an absolute gem!
Highly recommend the Avocado BLT from Spouses! She makes it just right! Always FRESH and provides the best costumer service. My favorite local bakery hands down. 🫶🏼

I have stopped in many times before, but went a few weeks ago and the bread loaf I bought was stale. It made great toast, but I was really disappointed as that’s not what I was expecting. Update:: The owner has offered to give my money back or a free loaf of bread on the house. That’s actually amazing of them!

What an amazing find! Hot, fresh food and home baked treats for a reasonable price. All served up by super friendly people. Best breakfast burrito ever! Worth the 8 mile detour from I95 on our road trip! Will definitely stop there again!

One of the best hometown bakeries. Sandwiches are fresh and taste great. I recommend the gouda bread, or a muffin, or piece of quiche, or just about anything!
Far and away the best blueberry muffins that my wife and I have ever had anywhere. Unfortunately, we only stopped briefly on our way out of St Mary’s to Florida from Connecticut. And to think I thought that blueberry muffins are a northern specialty! Will come back.
