The Old House is truly a Statham staple. I visited years ago for lunch, but today was my first time trying their breakfast—and it didn’t disappoint! They serve all the classic Southern staples. I ordered two eggs with cheese, grits, toast, and bacon. The eggs were prepared omelet-style and were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care.

The service was five-star—friendly and attentive—and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town family restaurant: warm, welcoming, and charming.

Highly recommended if you’re in the area and want a true Southern breakfast experience.

We’ve been regulars here for a while, food used to be good but last 3 times our biscuits were burnt and not edible, seems like it’s not getting better. Why do you serve food that is clearly burnt and not edible? Throw it away and start over!! Won’t be going back.

Good breakfast food! Friendly! And its always packed. Everyone loves this place so be prepared for a short wait. Its always packed for a reason! Pretty sure their lunch time is busy too. It's a little cozy hole in the wall but spots like these have the best food.

Small town country eatin. Biscuits are huge and my fav! Never disappoints with gravy. Pancakes are huge, too. Thick cut bacon. Never had a bad biscuit there. Lunch is pretty good, too, altho I haven't frequented during that time of day. They also sometimes sell freshly ground pork sausage

Everyone said the food was delicious. It was. And then I saw the trump sign out front. I won't be back.

I remember that the breakfast biscuits are out of this world! The biscuits are made just like my grandmother made, and the country ham biscuits are the best I have since I was a child 50 years ago.
