TASTELESS! I should have walked out when I walked in and was not greeted. I should have walked out when the Caucasian lady that served me behind the county refused to give me oxtail gravy in my rice. I did not mind paying extra. She blocked the plate where I could not see what she was doing. She put gravy on my turkey wing, when I asked for rice and gravy. My rice was dry. The food was tasteless! NO SEASON AT ALL! A waste of money! I will never return here! I'm from Louisiana! This food was bland and nasty and the service sucked!

I had my mind set on soul food yesterday after driving for quite a bit to get this location. After receiving my food, I was disappointed. The only thing that was truly had taste was the muffin.
The turkey legs were bland with no gravy covering the rice, the Mac and cheese tasted as if it came from a burnt pan as well. The fried chicken was good and although the customer service was decent I think she was the inner (was the only one serving) the food needs much more seasoning and fresh pots to be cooked in. The dining area could use work as well.

I got the oxtails, and ribs... the ribs were tasty but old. They had been reheated more than once. The oxtails were better than others I've had in the area but as I got down to the last two oxtails...i pulled a five inch piece of hair out of my mouth with a small piece of oxtail connected to it🤬 I almost RALPHED!!
The young woman who took care of us was great but unfortunately we got our food to go otherwise I'm sure she's would have taken care of the situation in some way.
I don't think I'll be back even tho I'm sure this doesn't happen often.
Give em a try and hope for the best🤞🏾

Went to Granny’s Soul Food today, it was my first time and I was quite disappointed in the food overall. The quantity of the food didn’t match the price and the baked turkey wings were very bland, they literally had no taste. The Mac and cheese was good and the yams were okay, very sweet and were mush for the most part. The food wasn’t very flavorful.
