First off the restaurant was extremely hot. We joined a party that was already seated abs it took way to long for the server to come back to the table. There was a little wait for the food was a little long, but I don't mind that if it's fresh. It was just OK. My wife enjoyed her frozen margarita, but my house drink was watery. It was too damn hot in there too order a second drink.

Went this past Sunday with a friend. I should have know there would be a problem when I walked in and the hostess didn't know if the specials were that day. We were seated promptly and were given our drinks pretty quickly. However, that's where the good service ended. Now, mind you, I'm not saying Sandra is a bad server. Its just that it was probably an off day. My friend and I decided to have fajitas. Usually we'll get one single chicken and one single steak and then we'll share. So, this is where the problem came in. The server didn't understand our order and I tried telling my friend that due to her having english as her second language and we trying to explain in English what we wanted, there was a disconnect. We told her we wanted one chicken and one steak fajita and my friend said she just wanted queso and lettuce. We'll, when the order came, we ended up with one plate of fajitas with both chicken and steak. Not a huge problem but the was hardly any of either meat. The real problem was that we only got 3 tortillas for 2 people and my friend didn't get her cheese. We tried telling the server we needed more tortillas and we still needed the cheese. We didn't see our server again until she brought the bill. It's such a shame because I know they can be better than that.

One out of three meals was good. Looking at parking lot and thought it was closed.((07/07/2025) server was ANNA worst ever should be washing dishes instead. Not attentive of customer service at all. Had to ask or coach her on everything. Straws , condiments and no extra napkins. Placed order main dishes was left off. No manager came to help other server blamed the cooks , but no one put forth any effort to make it right. So just went home and cooked after eating soggy tacos that every bite had juices oozing out. Local eatery next time passing by this place. Can you say Taco bell or Chipotle!!!!

I would like to give this place no stars however, that was not an option. My experience here tonight was horrible! Let me start off by saying that I have been to other Mesquite locations and had no issues but this particular location was not like the others. There was a power outage tonight that affected the restaurant. I was already seated and had already ordered my food prior to the outage happening. While they were able to still cook and serve food (I'm assuming due to a generator that was only connected to the kitchen) they were unable to cash out any tickets using a debit or credit card. The waiter tells us it's going to be cash only as we attempted to finish our food while eating by flashlight from our phones. I asked to speak to the manager as I don't usually carry cash however, I happened to have $40 in cash with me. The remaining total was $5.39. I spoke with the manager and asked him if due to the inconvenience of the lights could I pay the $40 and be compensated for the $5.39. He absolutely refused stating that the lights going out was not his doing. He said I would have to go to an ATM and get the cash. I told him that I understood that was not his fault but due to the inconvenience I would think that he would let me pay him what I had. He said no again and I told him this was bad business. As we were leaving out to go to an ATM he insisted that one of us stay because he didn't trust that we would return with the money. I was like seriously but ok. I went and got the money and returned to the establishment to pay. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant because while I don't believe that the customer is always right I do believe that there should have been some type of grace extended being that this was a situation out of everyone's control. Also he made a lady who only had chips and salsa go to her car and find the $1 that she was short when trying to pay and leave. I wish I were there as I would have given her the dollar seeing as I had to pull out $20 to get the $5 and some change that I owed.

Came for Cinco De Mayo it was lit and the food was good only thing was the chips weren’t fresh .

It was good for a last min lunch after a pedi w/the girls.

Service was great, quick to greet us and food came out in a timely manner.

We eat here at least one time a week. Good is always great as well as the service. We have been here with just 2 people and as many as 20 people in our group and service is always great.
